UFO Search Terms List
Today I looked up the most searched words that deal with UFOs. Some are obvious, others are confusing.
“UFO video”
Easy to understand this one. Everyone wants to see moving pictures of flying saucers, even if they can be easily faked nowadays. Perhaps the more important ones, like the Tremonton, Utah film of 1952 and the New Zealand newscrew film of 1978 are not faked, but are so indistinct so as not to tell us very much. Some of the Space Shuttle footage is intriguing, but inconclusive as well.
“UFO OHare”
Pretty much confirms the results of Paul Kimball’s Zorgy Awards for 2007. People are still googling this one, I hope they also search out the extensive report put together by the NARCAP people, even though it pretty much concludes that “something was seen, but no one knows what.”
“UFO Plastic”
You would think that this had to do with UFO toys, but no. There is a company called UFO Plastic that makes parts for off-road motorcycles. They have a good logo. It also reminds me of the Alien Workshop skateboard company, who have some very cool t-shirts for sale.
“UFO pics”
Surprising that this isn’t second on the list, but of course there are a lot more people who ride dirtbikes than there are who are interested in UFOs. Following the links reveals a lot of UFO porno (good, bad, and dramatic) photos.
“Crop Circles”
Until I looked at the stats for ufomystic, I hadn’t realized the huge interest in crop circles. Nick’s post of months ago is still the biggest draw on the site. Perhaps the circles are more new-agey than UFOs–at least they seem to be communicating something, and it’s been ambiguous enough to keep the story alive for years now.
“Roswell”
Slam-dunk obvious.

How about “UFO porn” or “UFO babes” or “UFO chicks”?

For kicks, in the Sims 2 you can have your Sim be “taken by aliens” and if it’s a guy, they come back pregnant!
Now THAT would be an awesome story.

You’d have to be very, very brave to search for those terms.
Either that, or have discovered some reliable means of un-seeing things.

misteranderson,
Those search terms seem obvious, but Google didn’t suggest them. “UFO porn” might bring up one of my posts! There is a photographer who takes pictures of naked women with realistic-looking alien dolls. As David Byrne once said “If you can think of it, it exists somehwere.”

jeanniesbottle,
Maybe it HAS happened! There is a man in Oregon who claims to pregnant at the moment, but doesn’t claim any UFO abduction…

Meh… I must be using a lower-grade searcher, ’cause all I could find was this disappointing clip.
(don’t worry, it’s inocuous)

RPJ,
I’ve seen this one. No link because my sense of humor is a lot more twisted than that.
Still, it makes me want to yell “UFOPORNOOO!” at odd moments.

One of those google side by side comparrisons of the key words might be interesting too. Naturally, I’ve forgotten the url to that tool.
