Defense Research Papers Online

You can see Department of Defense research into anomalies (among other things) from your own computer. At this site, the short intro states: The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC)’s Scientific and Technical Information Network (STINET) Service helps the DoD community access pertinent scientific and technical information to meet mission needs effectively.

I typed in “UFO,” “extrasensory perception” and “gravity” and got citations for some rather interesting documents. Most of the good ones are not available online (surprise) but you can get the text for a 1968 RAND corporation paper called “UFOs: What To Do?” by someone named George Kocher, with some good sighting reports from James MacDonald and other researchers, as well as Kocher himself. There is also a 1949 report from Project Sign, but while the text is not available, there is an interesting abstract that declares “No definite evidence is yet available to confirm or disprove the actual existence of unidentified flying objects as new and unknown types of aircraft. A limited number of the incidents have been identified as known objects.”

Click on over and report back here! The trick is to know what to look for, and possible military jargon for incidents, projects and hardware.

I was clued to this website by my girlfriend Sigrid. Is she cool or what?

I kept thinking your girlfriend’s name was Ingrid so I’m glad I remembered it wrong. Sure enough I searched “herpes and cancer” — talk about an anomaly! That the herpes virus apparently cures cancer has to be one of the strangest recent anomalies in science….Still a painful in-grown hair in the nether-region will continue to induce how many contactee-abduction visions we can only speculate.
