UFO Flying Formations
It is strange that while we have many detailed pictures, film and video of UFOs flying alone, the same cannot be said of formations of these objects. It seems that when there are more than a few unidentifieds zipping about in front of those who are ready with a camera of some sort, they seem to break ranks if any get too close.
Perhaps this is because any formation would not look like one if they were close enough to make out any details on individual objects, but my attention was drawn to this subject by a still from a video that researcher Farah Yurdozu forwarded to me a few days ago.
She told me that this formation appeared over Florida on August 25, 2005 while hurricane Katrina slammed into the Gulf Coast of the U.S. The only reference to this video is from a presentation given by Jaime Maussan at some unidentified lecture. You can find the link if you search, but it’s a very long clip and the formation is at the end. The video segment zooms in to focus on individual objects, but the quality is so poor that the lights just look like, well…blurry lights–no detail is apparent.
To me, this is not as important as what the image represents to the people who might have seen it, whether it is a hoax or not. While a few hundred or so witnesses may have seen this in the skies over Mexico, many more thousands have probably now seen the video clip.
In his 1978 book Messengers of Deception, Jacques Vallee warned that the UFO subject could be used as a tool for social control. This excellent overview of the contact phenomenon (among other things) argued that science had to start taking the subject seriously, or belief systems that required no proof (religion in other words) would take over the UFO subject. This has in fact happened to some extent. This is what the UFOs in the video (or the person who hoaxed it) are counting on.
Some will of course assert that the glowing cross has nothing to do with UFOs. A hundred or even 80 years ago, this might have been true. Since 1947 though, anything round and glowing seen in the sky has taken on a whole new host of meanings.
The cross image is readily recognizable to almost everyone. It carries with it the symbolism of an entire history of human endeavor, struggle, cruelty and hope. To see this shape floating in the sky, an apparent approval from the Ufonauts, places a confusing and possibly worrisome ingredient into the mix of UFO lore. Someone should look into the history of reported UFO formations for any other symbols that may have been spelled out.
Emperor Constantine, marching with his army to attack Rome in 312 A.D. is traditionally said to have seen a vision of a flaming cross in the midday sky, along with the Latin words “vinces in hoc,” meaning “By this, conquer.” He eventually converted the Roman empire to Christianity.
We may never know the source of this video clip, and if it is “real,” or not. In either case, it should make us think about why this image has been introduced as a meme, and what it might do to people across a wide range of belief systems. It’s sort of a rorschach blot, but one which carries a huge load of symbolic baggage.

OK I just had an extended debate with paranormal researcher Michael Prescott about the evidence for a historical “psychic” Jesus and this fits in with Constantine as the founder of the “true” Church…. ahem.
Seriously though that new David Sereda UFO video on dailygrail.com is a total social engineering promotion of the CIA Stargate Conspiracy — only aliens can unite the Holy Freemasonic Empire!
The NASA and space shuttle footage is fascinating though but I think it can be explained without resorting to little green men. Also nice to know the military has big black rectangles as well! That might explain my friend’s sighting of the levitating canister thing over a highway. haha.
Having seen a big, black triangle way too close for comfort I researched the thing and sure enough it was right in a military flight test corridor where similar “alien” sightings occurred in the 1970s. This UFO flap in the 1970s, in the St. Croix River Valley of Minnesota, was accompanied by cattle mutilation right by a wildlife refuge, so scary a rancher moved away. The local newspaper even ran photos of the ufos — which again were just secret military test flights.

Drew you beat me to the punch.
When I first read this thread I had just finished reading STARGATE CONSPIRACY and was going to chime in along the lines you did.
While in my view the evidence points towards there being a real variety of intelligences (human and otherwise) within the multitude of ufo related phenomena, I think Stargate Conspiracy goes a long way towards continuing to document the strategems outlined in Vallee’s MOD.

Sometimes when I read your comments, I feel like someone who comes on this site not knowing anything about the UFO subject, as I haven’t read all of the same books and had the same experiences as you.
Are you suggesting that the military or someone else might be using this christian idea as a control tool? That I agree with!
I suppose I’ll have to get a copy of “Stargate Conspiracy.”

They’ve basically elaborated upon Vallee’s assertion that certain human agencies are manipulating beliefs with ufo related phenomena (particularly channeling of The Nine) and shown the lineage of certain esoteric/occult belief systems that have a history of political influence.
Mr. Hempel’s link to his essay leads to succinct descriptions of Picknett and Prince’s ideas on this important subject.

Well Greg before I read your comment I happened to have finally ordered your book today at Borders! haha. I realized last night that I finally have a pay check that doesn’t have to go to rent! haha.
Anyway I’m not sure which essay you are referring to Smiles — if it’s mine or someone elses. I have discussed the Stargate Conspiracy online before as what I called the “actual Matrix Plan” or “real Matrix” which got posted on the most credulous Icke (bless his wacky populist creepy rants!) haha.

I find independent corroboration from academic sources that indeed blacksmiths in Africa are considered the master magicians who shapeshift into crocodiles — the only ritual involving the whole community’s protection. Ranting? Just wait… The process to become a zombie — or Jnana — the highest Brahmin yoga — is through logical inference, not belief of any sort. A person simply and with intense focus, repeats “I-I-I” over, not as a mantra, but as an experiment to seek the source of the I-thought. There is an end to this experiment….
Dr. Rodolfo Llinas, NYU Neuroscientist and poster-boy of the New Age, has also achieved the same results. His book “I of the Vortex” explains that a microchip can now put a person into the deep sleep state so that their brain AND heart can be controlled, at will, by computers, enabling those so incurable by today’s late-capitalist era, as indispensable for the new nanobio holographic revolution.

yesterday (June 1, 2008)here in the philippines. we saw that same formation in the sky(cross image)about 3:30pm . sorry because we have no video to capture that event. but its true. first we saw like a baloon. but later the cross image was not move. we dont know whats the meaning of that event yesterday.
