Peter Robbins on Radio Misterioso

Robbins

Robbins, co-author of Left At East Gate will be our guest tomorrow night (March 23rd) from 8-10PM PST. His book is the story of the now well-known British Bentwaters UFO case of 1980. We will not be talking about the case, at least not specifically.

What many people don’t know is that Robbins is a master storyteller. At the 2003 Crash Retrieval Conference, we were having drinks with him in the bar when he talked about his adventures in India, Afghanistan, and the USSR in the late 1960s. By the time he was finished, a crowd from the surrounding casino had gathered and were doubled over in laughter as Robbins wove his tales.

We’ll have him retell these and other stories, as well as ask about his research into outsider scientist Wilhelm Reich’s UFO interests and encounters.

If you really want to ask him about the Bentwaters case, we’ll open the phone line in the last half hour :)

It’s all on Radio Misterioso at killradio.org tomorrow night.

Darnit Greg!! Another fantastic guest and i miss the program. Is there anyway we could have some Warning of an upcoming show. One day is just not enough….If i can remember i tune into Kill radio on sunday night when your show is sometimes on and most of the time all i hear is funky music. Next time with a guest of this caliber please please please give us a 5 day or weeks heads up so we can hear it. Pretty please??

Also any idea when this and the most recent Bil Moore interview will get posted to mp3?

oh and this is where i look for your shows is this right?

    Ward,

I often don’t know until about 3 or 4 days at the most when I’ll have people on, but I’ll try and give better notice. Too bad no one called in, even though that gave us more of a chance to talk about what we wanted!

I put up the notices close to the date mostly for the reason that a lot of people will tend to forget to listen if it’s too far in advance.

What’s wrong with the “funky” music?

I’m still debating putting up that Moore interview. He’ll be back sometime later this year, and we’ll have him on again.

The link is correct, but I’m working on getting the show on itunes (or somewhere else) so that we have a more reliable server.

thanks for the response Greg. I guess i need to start using those RSS feeds with alert about Radio Misterioso, but ive never used them so don’t know what im doing there.

Funky music is fine by me im an ambient and electronic freak myself, but id rather hear your show then music at that time, you understand.

The paranormal radio world is simply devoid these days perhaps one or 2 edge shows that have any real value anymore (Paracast, Culture of Contact, sometimes BOA but that’s about it)

Will the robins show be up soon? Left at East gate i think is a highly underrated good read.

Please please…pretty please put up the Moore interview. The 2 interviews you have done with him are the ONLY interviews he has done in like the last ten years. When you guys talk its always a fantastic rational exploration of this subject. I’d just like to hear More from the Moore “Maverick” as you called him in Project Beta. So it would be a great personal favor to me.

    Thanks again Greg.

Oh how soon will you be taking over the reigns on C2C, i think an on air sneeze from you would have more substance then the prepared materials Snoory spouts on that pedantic show. UGH

  4. Kristian Agus Says:

Hey Greg, totally agree with Ward pretty much word for word.Been hanging
for the last Moore interview for ages.
Could I also add the last kimball interview to the list.No doubt your as
busy as all hell, so whenever you get
the chance to put’em up it would be totally appreciated, Cheer’s

  5. Greg Bishop Says:

    Ward and Kristian,

I’ll put up the Kimball interview this week.

Frankly, Bill and I said some things in that interview that I am still working on and don’t really want to have out just yet. Most of it having to do with the identity (or hints thereof) about the intel person known as “Falcon,” as well as some personal stuff that I would need to edit out.
