Paul Kimball Interview Tonight: “The Ten Best UFO Cases”
One of the most rational commentators on the UFO scene will be my guest tonight on Radio Misterioso, and since he IS rational, it’s a rare chance to hear him speak. For the past year, Paul has been working on a documentary for Canada’s Space Channel called Best Evidence: The Top 10 UFO Cases. Early last year, Paul asked a group of UFO researchers to pick their 10 most well-supported sightings or events. The criteria involved a mix of reasons, but one of the most important was that they must include multiple, unconnected, and reliable witnesses. Other factors also came into play, such as physical, photographic, and radar confirmation of each sighting. This mix of facts is designed to draw in viewers who may not consider UFOs a subject of serious study. When one considers the sensationalistic and unsupported fodder usually passed off as serious reporting in UFO documentaries, Kimball’s effort may be the one to force on your skeptical friends.
Some of the cases may surprise you. I hadn’t even heard about two of them–one involving a famous aircraft design pioneer which occurred on the California coast in the late 1950s, the other happened more recently in the frozen wilds of western Canada. Some of you may be astonished or chagrined to learn that the Rendlesham Forest case also made the final cut. Kimball interviewed Col. Charles Halt, who approached a landed craft in December of 1980 and had his world turned upside down. We’ll be playing a short segment of his interview, as well as a few others. You can read about the documentary at Kimball’s excellent blog.
Paul will take call-in questions during the second hour of the program. Tune in at killradio.org from 8-10 PM PST tonight (03/25.)
