RARE Jacques Vallee Interview Coming Up

Just about everyone who visits this site knows who Jacques Vallee is one of the guiding thinkers of the anti-ETH crowd. He has refused just about all interviews and comment on the UFO subject for almost a decade, so someone must be involved in mind control on Vallee, because he is scheduled to appear on Coast To Coast with George Noory on Monday night, September 17th. The C2C website says:

One of the most prolific, best-selling, and most quoted authors in the field of Ufology, Silicon Valley entrepreneur Jacques F. Vallee will discuss his work on UFO phenomena as well as the government’s handling of UFO investigations and disclosure.

I will be very interested to see why he has chosen to break his silence, since as he told me a few years ago, he was not learning anything from the UFO field anymore. His website offers very little in the way of clues to his current thinking. Perhaps he has some sort of UFO-related project on the horizon, or has something to promote. The truth of the matter may be much more complicated, but we’ll be listening in for sure.

Some of you also may be interested in an interview with Reich of the Black Sun author Joseph Farrell, scheduled for Sunday evening with new host George Knapp. I interviewed Farrell earlier this year. You can download the file at the Radio Misterioso site to vote on which one you like better!

Thanks to UFOmystic commenter Greg Taylor for the heads-up.

Awesome….I can’t wait… I love Jacques Vallee. I wish he would write another book.

  2. markpilk Says:

Damn - I wish he’d break his silence when I wanted to talk to him! I don’t have an audience of millons sadly ;-)

  3. Greg Taylor Says:

Jacques is also lecturing at next month’s IRVA conference (remote viewing) in Las Vegas - I guess combining a trip with a Bigelow Aerospace meeting (he’s on the advisory board). You’ll put me up for a few nights in L.A., right Greg? ;)

He might talk about his novel Stratagem, which he has translated into the English language. I didn’t think he had it ready to be released though.

Hope somebody is going to record this, as I no longer have a C2C subscription (you can only put up with so much Dick Hoagland and Ed Dames…).

  4. markpilk Says:

Likewise - if either of you good Gregs get a recording please let me know!

And, Greg B, I’m likely to be in California for three weeks over Xmas so perhaps we could try to meet and hang out for a couple of days. I’d happily come down to LA. Er, I can stay a couple of nights, right ;-)

  5. mouseonmoon Says:

actually, Vallee was at ARE awhile back, but there’s no info on this now….missed him by a week, had a local article…
    but can’t find it now.

  6. Greg Taylor Says:

Should point out as well that I interviewed Jacques last year for our online mag Sub Rosa:

    (Issue 4)

  7. Greg Bishop Says:

    Mark,

I don’t know what’s going on with Vallee. He’s been very warm and polite when I’ve met him, but he’s his own man and I suspect he doesn’t really care what most people think about him.

Yes, of course you can hang here for a couple of days. By then, you’ll have the final cut of “Mirage Men” ready to show me.

  8. Greg Bishop Says:

    Greg,

I can’t record it, unless I do it right off the radio. Maybe I will.

Yes, you can stay too, but I think I’d like to go to the LV RV conference as well.

  9. Greg Bishop Says:

    mouseonmoon,

Greg Little! Another UFO writer who I hold in high regard, but don’t mention enough.

  10. mouseonmoon Says:

the interview was going along wonderfully till Noory changes the subject to Spielberg, sheez.
(btw i’d vote Vallee the best all time UFOogist, yet McDonald deserves an award for putting his reputation on the line, and i wish i knew what V thought of him…), anyway, Noory’s better than LKg.

Of esp interest is the anecdote of the man destroying data, ‘because the Americans will laugh at us’ (Menzel no doubt), honestly, no need for a ‘conspiracy theory’ with this kind of pervasive mind-set everywhere (ironically,McDonald describes the same situation in America…and the ‘fear factor’ still rules).

But i really want to know more about this idea :”Our Universe is a sub-set of something else.”

(and Greg, if you’re reading this, the history of SRI would be a great subject for interview/book-
    know anyone researching this?)

    red pill junkie,

I have the files, give me an idea of how to post it & I’ll try & get it to you….

I hope this is okay to post this……

  15. Nick Redfern Says:

All of these Greg’s (Bishop, Taylor, Little) on the scene reminds me of the George thing in the 50s (Adamski, Van Tassel, Hunt Willamson), and the mass of Bill’s in the 80s (Moore, Cooper, English, Goodman, Hamilton).

Wonder what will be the next decade’s most popular ufological name?

  16. red pill junkie Says:

    Much obliged misteranderson!! :-)

Ps: About the most popular ufological name in the next decade… how about Nick? ;-)

  17. Greg Taylor Says:

Cheers misteranderson! Much appreciated. Seems like Ed Dames is still a ubiquitous presence!

  18. misteranderson Says:

    Glad to do it,

it was a lot of fun to listen to Jacques Vallee. God I would like to hang out with him on a regular basis & follow him around on his witness investigations. There are a million questions I would love to ask him. I wish he’d write another book. I wish Greg Bishop would write another book like Project Beta, that was a fun read……

  19. Greg Bishop Says:

    mouse,

    Who’s LKg?

I haven’t heard the interview yet, and we may have to take down the links so thoughtfully provided by mister anderson, for obvious reasons.

If you want to know more about “our universe is a subset of something else” read Dean Radin, Jim Brandon, Michael Talbot, and some entries on this very blog.

  20. misteranderson Says:

    Yeah,

I was worried if those links were okay to do or not…

  21. mouseonmoon Says:

GregB re > “Noory’s better than LKg.”
Larry King (did u see his recent UFO ’show’?)

Noory ‘drops the ball’….when u hear the interview,
u’ll see what i mean -rather than follow up on topic,
N simply goes to his ‘prepared questions’.

And the ‘grande finale’ was the above quote >
time wasted on Close Encounters movie ‘trivia’
we all know and so on….yet Vallee actually tries
to come back to the subject of ‘consciousness’ but
    N simply ‘can’t handle it ‘- i guess -’that’s entertainment’

I know Talbot’s work, and familiar with Radin (Noetic Inst), but not Brandon.

I may have read about 30% here, and just discovered yr ‘Penn and Teller’ -right on - there’s an arrogant mean-spirited core that’s
    ‘over the line’ to me….
