New UFO Video From Haiti
Once again, we have a video that’s too good to be true, supposedly taken on August 7th. This one is just starting to dredge up a mountain of controversy. It may have “legs,” that is until the next one comes along.
I like the frightened gasp near the start of the segment, and the subtle sound effects. Some commenters have pointed out that the palm trees in the shot don’t move when the craft goes by. I noticed that when the UFOs go out of focus, other things in the shot do not. Stick with the classic saucer shape if you want any credibilty. Just a few things to think about when you’re composing your next UFO video.
Some rumblings in the youtube comments reference marketing campigns and government projects–just like the CARET meme, but I doubt it’s the same people. If so, as Bill Hicks once said “What’s this dude selling?” They would be very good at surfing the belief systems of the internet age.
Thanks to Kenn Thomas for the heads-up.
P.S. Here’s another claiming to be from the Dominican Republic.

I love those videos, they did a real good job. I have a question about the reality of UFO’s. Does anyone wonder why UFO’s when seemingly flying faster than the speed of sound make no noises? Does anyone wonder why UFO’s would need lights if they had advanced technology?
August 11th, 2007 at 7:23 pm
The craft themselves seemed fake to me, but the one thing that made me wonder was the blurring. The blurring was very consistant with what a real camcorder would do. It wouldn’t be easy to fake that with models. So if fake, they did a good job on that.
I didn’t see the part where the craft blur but the palm trees don’t. It goes fast, so it’s tough to tell if that happens.

misteranderson-
It’s well documented that UFOs don’t make sonic booms. I’ve seen that used as the basis of the argument that they are not manmade, because we have never been able to figure out how to completely eliminate a sonic boom.
As for why they need lights- That’s anybodies guess, but it seems to me that the true UFOs tend to be self-luminous (that is, the whole craft glows rather than having lights on it). In many cases, it seems that the UFO is deliberately trying to attract attention , and the lighting is part of that.

Some on the ATS forums noticed something that gave the game away on this one. If you take a look at some of the palm trees… they’re copies of the same one… they weren’t there to begin with just as the UFOs weren’t.
I wouldn’t be suprised if it was put together by the same people who are beind the Caret/Drone stuff.

I recently uploaded a video with just one or two of a great many things that bother me regarding the authenticity of the Haiti/Dominican Republic UFO.
Thought you may find it interesting.

wow Greg! Well it looks pretty cool. The person gasping at the beginning of the video is kind of cheesy though. As far as the lights to me it looks like it would be part of the propulsion system or something.

This is my favorite dubious UFO video:

If fake, the whole crowd had to be in on it.

Greg: Spent all day reading Project Beta — a wonderfully impressive book! I’m awed! Coincidentally I had just read Leonard G. Cramp’s “Cosmic Matrix: Jigsaw Puzzle, Part II” book published by the same company that published your first book….
You mentioned Paul La Violette’s electrogravitic research, an author I’ve read and seen mentioned fairly frequently. I hardly see Cramp mentioned but I thought his Cosmic Matrix book was fascinating albeit flawed. Nevertheless Cramp does give convincing evidence that the U.S. air force took interest in his “negative mass ratio” research, back in the 1950s. Cramp’s book is refreshing because he has practical experience yet he completely challenges the foundations of science.
Anyway thanks for such mind-blowing research! I feel better resolved in terms of my big black triangle — plasma spheres sighting — too close for comfort!! It happened to be right after the X-Files and that Doty was an advisor to that show is all too telling.
Now back to our current televised sighting….

There is apparently some speculation going round about these being marketing
for a forthcoming video/pc game called
Crysis. Smiles was telling me the two
vids are both from the same area, so the
claims of Haiti/Domican Republic are
suspect…though I suppose it could be right on the border.
Right pretty in any event-though the
similarity to common motifs in current
SF art does make it unlikey these are genuine ETCs, at least to my eye.

“Does anyone wonder why UFO’s would need lights if they had advanced technology?”
It’s a very fair and good question. I suppose we have to rule out the need of lights in the same manner as our air-vessels (air traffic recognition etc), or as a means to light the road, but the fact is numerous UFOs have been reported emitting all source of colors, being green, red, orange the more common. That’s why Spielberg put s many colors on his flying saucers in the move Close Encounters.
There was a theory that proposed that some of the light may come from the ionization of the air particles that surround these objects, and that as a result emmit photons of visible light. Air ionization is a good idea for travelling through the atmosphere because it may reduce or cancel the friction that a craft encounters as it travels to high speeds. Current aerospace engineering hasn’t solved how to do this (or SO they say!), that’s why ultra-sonic planes have to have the narrowest profile possible (think on the SR-71 Black Bird).
But the fact is, these objects seem to be able to travel at night without any light source visible, or as lit as Christmas trees. So a third option is: they turn on their lights to CALL OUR ATTENTION.
PS: Kudos to the CG artist who made those videos.

The author of the work is still anonymous, but the paintbrush has apparently been found by one Xenophile…

Then there’s Paul Hill’s book which I read several years ago. Didn’t realize that his work has gotten serious attention but I had got him confused with Paul LaViolette. Still I wouldn’t be surprised if Greg’s next book is on the black-budget scientists cited by Aviation Weekly who claimed serious harrassment by the M.I.B.s or mothmen… haha.

Been reading most of the accounts on the Haiti UFO: real or fake. There are only 2 or 3 questions that really need to be asked. Who took the video, & what else is on the same camera. (And why not come forward. CNN would make you an instan millionaire) Who else was there. And #3 do they live in Haiti/Domican Republic. If you get substantiated answers on all 3, chances are it’s real or somebody got a whole lot ot time and money to fake it. And hey, it doesn’t have to be alien, it could come from Idaho. Just remember anything can be said to be fake. I haven’t been to the moon or mars myself, or the ISS, but if we (the U.S.) haven’t been there and it’s all a fake, then it’s all
crazy. And maybe the world really is only 6000 years old !!
The real story that everyone has passed over is Walter Haut, the press officer from Roswell and his sworn affidavit. That there was a crash, with bodies, that it all really happened, and the govt. went to great lengths to cover it all up. They did such a good job, that even now, 50 years later, no major news organization will cover the story. Hey, we’ve only had the lightbulb for a little over 100 years. What’s that tell you !!
August 14th, 2007 at 10:05 pm
3 questions to the person who shot the Haiti UFO video: Are you from Haiti? Who else was there? What else is on the camera?
And #4, CNN will make you an instant millionaire if it’s all substantiated.
Once again, the real story is retired Roswell press officer Walter Haut’s sworn affidavit that it all happened at Roswell and that the military did cover it up. Why do we have such a hard time accepting all the first hand accounts that have been published about Roswell and other major UFO events. We don’t need to have 500 sightings become fact,.. ONLY ONE. If you know something to be true, you don’t need to have Larry King, Rupert Murdoch or ABC to tell you it’s real. Hell, they’re just selling soap anyway. I wish the media wasn’t so bought and paid for, but they are. They’ll be the last ones to get it. There’s the real mystery.

uth,
Since one of my jobs used to ge quality control in post-production film and video, I look for things like mistakes or bad special effects. I am certain that I see the craft out of focus when other elements in the picture are sharp. Depth-of-field problems should not crop up at the distances supposedly encountered in the video.
August 15th, 2007 at 11:29 am
uv777bk,
I mentioned the possible connection to the “drone” stuff, although it’s probably not likely. Could be wrong.
August 15th, 2007 at 11:35 am
Dr.Dil,
Good work! The identical trees are a good giveaway. How did you connect the videos to “Issac,?”
August 15th, 2007 at 11:36 am
Rod,
Good to see you on the site! There is a history of the brightness level of lights associated with UFO movement.
August 15th, 2007 at 11:38 am
Uth,
Yes, that Eastern European video had the whole crowd in on it. The UFO looks pretty bad too.
August 15th, 2007 at 11:40 am
Drew,
Thanks for the compliments on the book. I used the electrogravitics research as a tangent to possibly explain some of the things that Bennewitz was seeing in the late 1970s/ early ’80s, as well as the Cash-Landrum case.
August 15th, 2007 at 11:47 am
penguinsonarock,
The videogrpaher/ hoaxer will probably never come forward, since this is most likely either for attention and/ or internet viral project for reasons we have yet to determine.
Re: Haut’s affadavit-I asked Bill Moore about this. He said that Haut (who he interviewed in 1978, before anyone else) had modified and added many elements of his story. This may be due to faulty memory, but Haut never mentioned seeing any aliens until the “death bed” document was released a couple of months ago. I think that he originally said that he only talked to a nurse who saw them.
August 15th, 2007 at 1:09 pm
Greg Bishop,
Thanks for your input re: my questions about the Haiti video and
Walter Haut. Let’s face it, the video
is probably fake, (who knows why), but
regardless of Haut’s lack of memory over a fifty year span, there have certainly been a substantial # of witnesses from that period corroborating events and what they saw.
The problem for me is not so much about the reality of UFO’s, but how easily “experts” dismiss anything that they are not privy too. Videos are one thing, but average people being at a certain place and time are quite another. I reiterate, how many experiences does it take. If we apply science to almost any
August 15th, 2007 at 1:22 pm
Greg,
I hit the wrong button.
My point is that we can refute almost anything that happens as long as it doesn’t happen to us. In fact Christianity and most religious belief is nothing more than that. Belief. The belief is based (more or less) on writings of events that happened. In the 21st century we have video’s, core samples, tons of people working on various space projects, media coverage, and lots of money being poured into highly classified military programs.
But we still have very little common sense.

Greg Bishop Says: August 15th, 2007 at 11:35 am
Dr.Dil, Good work! The identical trees are a good giveaway. How did you connect the videos to “Issac,?”
Thanks Greg, I’m not sure what you mean, if it’s the reference contained within the video then it’s partly because of the amount of people that the Drone sightings & the Isaac documents have drawn to the UFO subject lately, a lot of these people are hanging around still so I thought it a valid reference point.
That and the fact that while I know 100% the Haiti UFO Video is a hoax, I feel that the Isaac documentation can’t (as yet) really be conclusively labelled as a hoax. That’s not to say I think it’s all genuine, but while it may be seen as the same, “Sport” as the Haiti UFO, it’s most certainly the top of an entirely different league!!
But the main reason for mentioning it at all is I feel that it is the benchmark (for the minute anyway) for all comparable UFO sightings/documents. That and to stress the point that the Haiti UFO’s were obviously filmed at the same location (whether that was a CGI environment or not), and why would a member of the public need to lie about this.
Incidentally, on the Haiti UFO’s, the gasp made by the filmmaker has been identified and located online and the software VUE6 has exactly the same rendered backdrop and palms, proving the full incident a complete hoax. I have done professional 3D and compositing for both film and television and I have to say that as good as this looks it was done usinf E-onsoftware’s Vue Infinite. The artist used 3D tracking Data from a hand held camera and loaded it into the program (A new feature) they then inserted the ufo and rendered. If you look real close the trees are swaying a tad to much. And the sway is not natural (limitation of program) If you don’t believe me just go to e-onsoftware’s site and look at the movie reels.

To the person who asked why a technically advanced alien race would need lights on their ship…
In this video, the lights on the UFO are on the bottom of the ship & the glow comes from the fuel burn-off.
Also, I wish all these hoaxer’s would realize that the saucer shape would be a terrible design for a intergalactic vehicle & this especially true for the ship in the video.
A design like that would never hold up to any form of light speed travel, worm holes, & manipulation of black & white holes.
