Interesting Logo For Private Space Company
As I was taking a look at the Bigelow Aerospace Company’s site I noticed that the company logo appears to be a stylized alien “grey” face. It’s subtle–you need to look at the address window at the top of your browser. The “Images” photo gallery also has a picture from the company’s orbiting space station showing the alien head as well.
Robert Bigelow, as some of you may know, gave lots of money to UFO research in the 1990s, which apparently came to nothing, as far as the multi-millionaire backer was concerned, as he went on to start a company that is going into space, instead of waiting for aliens to come here. His money also purchased the famous “Skinwalker Ranch” property in Utah, where researchers looked for evidence of paranormal and UFO activity.
There is also a piece on the site about an anomalous light picked up by the orbiter’s cameras, but it looks like a lens flare to me.

It isn’t technically their logo - it is the site’s favicon (it should show up in your bookmarks) and they seem to use it as a highlighted bullet point in the image gallery.
It seems to be an egg-shape with a pointed narrow end and a cursive M and I can’t see any good reason for this other that it being… well “a stylized alien ‘grey’ face”!!
Great find and I do wonder if they are rubbing our noses in it.

Well, I think we all know that Bigelow has had an abiding interest in the subject of UFOs for quite some time.
I’m sure he knows more than he’s letting on.

I find the star trek references interesting on that page: ‘next generation’ ‘final frontier’ and even the fonts…

Bigelow Aerospace have used the alien head ‘logo’ often in the past. I have a desktop wallpaper I downloaded from their site a long while back - can’t seem to find it on their site now. I’ve uploaded it to TDG for anyone interested:
