August 13, 2007X-Conference 2007, Hilton Hotel, Gaithersburg, MD, September 14-16Washington, DC- Paradigm Research Group announced today the final speaker lineup for X-Conference 2007 to be held at the Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg, MD, outside of Washington, DC, on September 14-16. The X-Conference focuses on the political, governmental and social aspects relating to extraterrestrial-related phenomena. It is produced by PRG as part of an ongoing activist effort seeking to end a government imposed truth embargo on formal
acknowledgement of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.

All of the principal presidential candidates will soon receive invitations to attend or send a representative to speak to this issue. The failure of the political leadership in this country to respond to the growing public awareness of an extraterrestrial presence is a national disgrace.”
Bassett further stated, “There is a basic message these candidates need to hear. It doesn’t matter whether you want to be the first woman president, the first black president, the first Hispanic president, the first Mormon president or the first Jewish president. If you do not have the foresight and courage to step before a microphone and address this extraordinarily implicative issue, you are not fit to lead this nation. America right now desperately needs selfless, transparent, truthful governance - not more mendacity, secrecy and self-serving issue avoidance.” All members of the U.S. Congress, the approval rating of which recently fell to a historic low of 14%, will also be invited to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to learn about an issue for which they are being denied access and oversight by the military and civilian intelligence agencies.PRG also indicated today a post-event press conference has been scheduled for Monday, September 17 at 10 am in the Lisagor Room at the National Press Club, 13th Floor, 14th and F Streets, NW, Washington, D.C. Stephen Bassett along with other conference speakers will make a number of announcements. It will be open to the public.
