I'd order that 3 Men as Monsters book but I just ordered that overpriced "Left in the Dark" book about how eating fruit secretly makes your brain grow or something. Fruit definitely CLEARS out your GI tract. haha. It's too expensive though in MN.

Still I think R. Dolan should smoke some salvia while it's still legal. I thought National Security State was a bit soft-headed in terms of not contexualizing some of the sightings and then leaning on the E.T.H. a bit too much.

I mean -- look at UFO Media Matters recent blog -- there's no real contextualization of the information, as if all testimony is of equal value and can not be considered in a broader framework.

The real psychological hang-up is not the witnesses projecting their fantasies onto some unidentified object in the sky (say Betty Hill), but rather these repressed science writers projecting their id onto reality as some sort of vast alien techno-orgasm.

We need to grow up and stop projecting the destructive externalities of technology onto those ever-so-convenient "aliens."

Great news! Along with Greg's Project Beta, I consider the original UFOs and the National Security State one of the best and most significant books on UFOs.

I eagerly await both new volumes. Just hope he actually manages to bring one out here before long! I know how easy it is to bog down...

In related news, I just read your Three Men Seeking Monsters and loved it. A great read, crackling with fascinating vignettes and lore.
