UFOs in the Mail

I just received in the mail a copy of issue 3 of Stuart Miller’s new Alien Worlds magazine.

It’s probably gonna take me a couple of days to digest all of its 82-pages, but even a cursory glance at it reveals that there’s some good stuff in there, including:

* An in-depth interview with someone vaguely familiar, and who goes by the name of Greg Bishop…;

* Information on the recent release of the British Ministry of Defense’s UFO files courtesy of Joe McGonagle;

* A review of the Retro UFO gig that me and Greg spoke at in April;

* An article from me on the FBI’s files on weird phenomena (such as UFOs; cattle-mutes; spontaneous human combustion; ESP and more).

* An alien-abduction-themed article from Nigel Watson;

* A Sex and Consequences in Space feature from S. Jay Porter;

* Kithra on the Cumberland Spaceman and the Ilkley Moor Alien;

* A letters page (that includes a rant from me);

* UFOs and Sonic-Booms;

* Paul Kimball on the seven-wonders of the ufological world;

* Much in the way of book reviews, including my review of Jon Downes’ brand-new book Island of Paradise, which chronicles my and Jon’s expedition to Puerto Rico in 2004 in search of the Chupacabras.

* And, of course, much more! Should you buy it? You know you should!

    What did you rant about?

  2. Nick Redfern Says:

    Two guys said I was using the UFO subject as a cash-cow re my books!

    They obviously know nothing about how the publishing world works! LOL.

    What was interesting that both letter-writers used that same term: “cash-cow.”

    Makes me wonder if they know each other…

    I told them next time if they have anything to say about me personally, then ask me what the situation is before coming to massively wrong conclusions and broadcasting their massively wrong assertions in a news-stand magazine.

    Tell them is more like goat ;-)

    Great conversation with that Bishop fellow. The name is indeed somewhat familiar . . .
