Okay that worked. Yeah, I know of this guy’s name; but that’s about all. I know little about him or his account. However, I put the word out to some friends that do know his story and have actually looked into it, and I’m promised links and info. Soon as it comes, I’ll post.

Don’t forget Don Maor and Not_Anonymous also weighed in, trying to get Paul to realize that he had accidently used a ‘logic fallacy’. Paul may be correct in his conclusions, it’s just the ‘evidence’ he uses doesn’t logicly prove such conclusion.

Whatever happens, I suspect it is all going to make for one hell of an interesting court case!

I find it interesting - and all those who despair that he might receive a really harsh sentence take note - that he rejected an offer of 3 to 4 years, which, with parole, would have meant even less time, probably in a minimum security facility. McKinnon says he rejected it because the US wouldn’t put it in writing, which I find odd. I suspect they rejected it because they thought they could beat extradition. If so, big mistake, and now he really does have no-one to blame but himself, and perhaps his lawyers for making a bad call.
