UFO News
I thought I would try something different. In addition to posting daily stories, thoughts and opinions on all things ufological, I’ve decided that I’m going to make each Monday a news day, pointing you in the direction of some intriguing, breaking stories.
Here we go:
1. For details of a UFO story worth of James Bond, 007 himself, check out this: “When a former USAF Counterintelligence officer told a TIGER Committee member he had received classified information from current government officials, our investigation revealed a trail of spies, lies and polygraph tape. In the United States of America, there is no statue of limitation for espionage, even if the source of the security breach remains embedded in a tale of other worlds. At issue: Rumors passed among members of the intelligence community about the government’s ‘core story’ of contact with intelligent beings not from this world.”
2. Are we about to see new revelations in the strange saga of the Maury Island UFO incident/hoax/Intel-sponsored Psy-Op (insert as applicable) of 1947? Decide for yourselves.
3. Don Ecker, a well-known US authority, recently decided to quit research for good. But you can learn all about his two decades of work here. Only time will tell if Ecker will one day return.
4. New revelations about Puerto Rico’s strangest inhabitant - the Chupacabras - will be surfacing in Asheville, NC later this year. Blood-suckingly good fun!
5. Paul Kimball makes valid points concerning the ever-present MJ12 controversy. Jason “The Boy in the Machine” Gammon doesn’t agree. Paul clarifies his position. Jason still doesn’t agree. And on and on it goes.
6. I swore that I would not mention UFO computer hacker Gary McKinnon on these pages again until after the trial. But this new piece is well worth reading and so it’s a case of never say never again from now on re McKinnon.
7. See what the press had to say about the recent Eureka Springs UFO gig.

Re: McKinnon
I find it interesting - and all those who despair that he might receive a really harsh sentence take note - that he rejected an offer of 3 to 4 years, which, with parole, would have meant even less time, probably in a minimum security facility. McKinnon says he rejected it because the US wouldn’t put it in writing, which I find odd. I suspect they rejected it because they thought they could beat extradition. If so, big mistake, and now he really does have no-one to blame but himself, and perhaps his lawyers for making a bad call.

Whatever happens, I suspect it is all going to make for one hell of an interesting court case!

Ok Nick — this should work. It seems a “recent revelation” as this blog is about the same date as that http://conspiracycentral.info forum thread.

Yay! I made UFO News!
Don’t forget Don Maor and Not_Anonymous also weighed in, trying to get Paul to realize that he had accidently used a ‘logic fallacy’. Paul may be correct in his conclusions, it’s just the ‘evidence’ he uses doesn’t logicly prove such conclusion.

Okay that worked. Yeah, I know of this guy’s name; but that’s about all. I know little about him or his account. However, I put the word out to some friends that do know his story and have actually looked into it, and I’m promised links and info. Soon as it comes, I’ll post.
