UFO Gigging

There’s still time to get tickets and attend the upcoming Culture of Contact gig that runs from October 16 - 18 at the Loews Theater in Jersey City, NJ. Speakers include Peter Robbins, Budd Hopkins, Richard Dolan, Stephen Bassett, Bill Birnes, Farah Yurdozu, and Jeremy Vaeni.

Here’s a taster of what’s afoot at the C of C event:

Friday October 17th:

Noon – 5pm - Want that intimate up close and personal chat with your favorite speaker this weekend? This is the time to do it. We will have small group discussions with the speakers and also with experiencers, as well as surprise guests and events.

Also…. gawk at the wonders of Pat Marcatillio’s UFO Museum. Explore your own brain using Masahiro Kahata’s brain tech inventions and your mind with Raymond Strano’s perception-altering musical device. (Attractions run all day Saturday too!)

6:00pm - Jeremy Vaeni introduces Stephen Bassett, Washington’s only Disclosure lobbyist. [Disclosure means the formal acknowledgment of the extraterrestrial presence by the United States Government or another first-world nation.] He will talk about what may be coming from a new Democratic administration should they win and what kind of citizen action can help guarantee Disclosure in 2009 including the Million Fax on Washington and the Citizen Hearing. He will review the most important events of 2008 impacting Disclosure along with some behind the scenes accounts.

7:00pm – Melissa Reed introduces Ghosthorse, whose live performance will bring us out of the brain and into the heart of what this festival is about. The band is comprised of musicians from many backgrounds and places in time, bringing many hearts to the Indigenous spirit within these songs. They make up the many colors of these creations. The songs have a constant universal flow all pulled together by the traditional Lakota cedar flutes, with appreciation for the Creator.

8:00pm - Keynote Address by Tiokasin Ghosthorse. Tiokasin will share his energy and speak about the Lakota relationship to the Star Nations and what it means for us all to be living in the time of the White Buffalo Calf Woman Prophesy.

9:00pm - William J Birnes introduces War of The Worlds screening. This year marks the 70th anniversary of Orson Welles’ infamous radio broadcast to the month and we’ve got the UFO Hunter himself on deck to explain a conspiracy about that very radio program! (35mm Print of Film).
And here’s the link where you can out all the rest of the required data on the gig.
