Lesley:

Yes, Nick Cook's book is a very interesting one and well worth reading for unseen info on classified military projects.

Craig: yeah, the "drone" angle has to an extent been thrust upon us. Who knows: they could be piloted by *very* diminutive aliens!

UV: Yep: it was refreshing to see it treated seriously by the media, rather than the usual poking-fun attitude.

Even when the photos first came out and everyone laughed at them I did not. I wrote about this is Grey Matter back then, but just because it looks funny doesn't mean it couldn't be real. Anyone who has ever read Nick Cook's excellent book, Hunt for Zero Point should realize that the design makes a certain amount of sense. If it is real, I doubt very seriously that it is alien. Although, it would also be obvious from the writing on it that someone wants us to think it is.

Let me plug Hunt for Zero Point again - Anyone who is interested in ufos should read it even though it isn't about ufos as alien vehicles.

There are methods of finding range from
a couple of known dimensions-I don't know if there's enough information in the images to judge.

But referencing the earlier post about
Shag Harbor, I can't help but notice the reporter isstanding in front of a
sign for "Morehead" ( State University, I think. Wink. )

And I can't help but smile atthe term
'Drone', itself. Given that a bare
handful of 'craft sightings' down the
years have shown crews, how can we assume that these craft are unmanned
just from the shape?

2007 will definitely be remembered as the year of the drones.

The reporter talks about the object being massive, but how can we determine the distance between what crosses the Moon in the video, and the camera? Is there a way to calculate this?

Notice how the case is actually taken seriously be the reporter, too. I guess it can't be laughed off too easily when the thing is there floating across the moon!

My friend, Shannon, who lives was born in northern Kentucky (right near the border of Ohio) takes the subject very seriously. I asked her why but all I could get out of here was that it was due to her proximity to Wright-Patterson and all the stories that have come out of there over the years.
