Over at his blog, Frank Warren reveals the story of a reported UFO crash in Hawaii in 1950 (see the above newspaper article on the saga). The story is interesting - albeit thus far vastly under-investigated.
Maybe now, with this news report and the source of the story highlighted, it’s time for someone local to the area to delve further into the matter of what did or did not occur on that fateful day back in 1950.
A study of UFO books reveals a plethora of crashed UFO reports in circulation in the US in the period from around 1949 to 1951, some of which at least were nothing but hoaxes and “friend-of-a-friend”-type tales that could be directly traced back to the activities of Silas Newton, a key-player in the controversial and notorious Aztec, New Mexico “crashed UFO” case of March 1948.
Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean we should just dismiss this case from the same period out of hand and without further examination. Is anyone up for the challenge to dig further into this story from Hawaii?
