The idea that there could have been a couple of different things combined to create was has become known as the Roswell Incident is an interesting one.

Although Karl Pflock eventually came to the conclusion that just a Mogul balloon was involved, his first big publication on the case - "Roswell in Perspective" - published in (I think) 94 discussed the scenario of one of the large secret Mogul balloon arrays colliding with a UFO and both coming down.

The fact that there were countless German scientists brought over to White Sands, New Mexico in the post-war era (via Operation Paperclip) and that there were UFO reports in the same area and era does indeed make it confusing.

Here's something to consider about Roswell. As impossible as it now seems, what if all the strange happenings concerning the Roswell Incident are true but only parts of a larger story? Perhaps there was a UFO crash, balloon crash as well as diabolical experiments on humans beings all happening at the same time? Known human history is rife with strange coincidences(?) surrounding major events. The larger truth is not only stranger than fiction, it must be stranger than fiction. Fiction must make sense to be any good but the truth rarely does make sense.

"this book provides a good deal of important new material"

No offense to Stan, but this sounds like hype to me. After 60 years, and countless re-tellings, I doubt we'll see anything truly "new".

I seriously hope the release of this book gets some notice in the media and gets something going.
