Shameless Self Promotion
For anyone interested, here’s a pretty comprehensive listing of what’s been going on with me in 2006

Earlier this year, Anomalist Books (the brainchild of Patrick Huyghe and Dennis Stacy) published my book, “On the Trail of the Saucer Spies: UFOs and Government Surveillance” (see Anomalist Books for details), which is a study of the way in which government no-goods secretly spy on the good folk of ufology. Have they nothing better to do with their time? Apparently not since, as the book shows, practically anyone and everyone in ufology has been the subject of the dreaded “government file” at some point.

I also wrote the Introductions/Forewords to two new books this year: “Hunting the American Werewolf” by Linda Godfrey (which is a truly great read) and Lisa Shiel’s “Backyard Bigfoot” which contains intriguing UFO-related data. Check both out if you are interested in cryptozoology.

Anomalist Books’ “The Universe Wants to Play” (again see Anomalist Books) includes a 28-page chapter from me on official FBI files on ESP research from the 1950s (which pre-dates the CIA’s Remote-Viewing ops by decades) and how it all links in with key players from the long-gone world of the contactee.

Marie Jones interviewed me extensively for her new book, “PSIence,” which was recently published, and which is a study of how and why quantum physics may explain the existence of paranormal phenomena. This is one of my favourite books of this year (see: New Page Books)

I’ve also been working closely with Dr. Bob Wood (father of Ryan Wood, see: The Majestic Documents) on his forthcoming book, “In Search of the Alien Viruses,” which will really stir up the UFO community. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
On the lecture front, I’ve given a couple of presentations to the Dallas-Fort-Worth Mufon group, and lectured in the summer for the British-based Staffordshire UFO Group and at the annual “Weird Weekend” gig that my good mate Jon Downes puts on every year in Devonshire, England. Other gigs included Paul Kimball’s New Frontiers Symposium in Nova Scotia, Canada in October; and a gig in Kansas City last weekend (see Dark Tour 30).
We also got to rampage around Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Avebury, and a few other places of Fortean interest, too.
I’l be speaking for the Dallas-Fort-Worth Mufon group (on Crop Circles) in January; and in February Simon & Schuster’s Paraview-Pocket Books division publishes my next book, “Celebrity Secrets: Government Files on the Rich and Famlous,” which digs the dirt on lots of long dead celebrities.

Hanging out at Stonehenge this Summer

Re: Linda Godfrey.
Linda is undergoing a spot of illness right now, Nick, you might want to check in with her and wish her well/

Bill
I did indeed check in. She emailed me a couple of weeks ago and told me. I sent her my prayers and wishes for a speedy, healthy recovery.

Would be cool if you could visit the reconstructed Stonehenge near Kerrville TX when you visit Dallas. I haven’t been there but have read about it in one of the TX magazines.
Too cool to miss.
Take care to live in the moment.
