Pilots and UFOs
This is likely to create some media interest: next monday former Arizona Governor Fyfe Symington will moderate a panel of individuals at the National Press Club Ballroom, where a range of pilots, people in the aviation industry, and retired military and defense personnel will discuss the UFO controversy.
if you’re interested, the above-link contains contact details, as well as a full listing of those that will be participating (which includes Nick Pope, formerly of the British Ministry of Defense; General Wilfried De Brouwer, former Deputy Chief of Staff, Belgian Air Force; Jim Penniston, USAF, Ret., who was involved in the 1980 “UFO landing” at Rendlesham Forest, England; and John Callahan, Chief of Accidents and Investigations for the FAA in the 1980s).

It would be nice to think that, despite the line-up seen here and the Friday Larry King show that precedes it, this might garner some media attention. Sadly, I think everyone involved will be branded a nut-job - Fife Symington, General Wilfried De Brouwer, and Nick Pope included.

I think this is gonna be good! I particularly would like to hear the version of the iranian pilot who tried to intercept an UFO at Tehran.

Yeah, I’m looking forward to it! I’m just a pessimist… as if you couldn’t tell
Hopefully, the guests on Larry King will be allowed to talk without Shermer, or some other skeptic blathering on about how utterly useless any human is knowing what they are seeing at any given time. And to think people are allowed to pilot passenger planes when we’re that susceptible to hallucinating…
D’oh!!
