Many stories talk of them being able to sort of pop into our reality. I even read one account where somebody apparently accidently stepped into a Bigfoot 'portal' and was sort of pushed back out by one of the creatures. It would be interesting to see that photo with the hourglass you mention. Sasdave,

Urt, I in some ways hope that the bigfoot was not real; but, the one me and my brother saw was very much real. Intresting note regarding their ability to disappear was shown in a picture by I do believe by John Magor. He also put out: The Canadian UFO Report early 1969. He put a book out ??? that had a picture of these hairy creatures coming out of a hour glass shape of light. They look rather small til you are told the rock in the picture is 4' tall so these things would be at least 8' or more tall. I have lived on Vancouver Island for over 25 years and I have only had 1 out of many experiances told to me where the bigfoot actually disappeared while being watched. So who knows their abilities especially if many haven't had a chance to witness this grand and intelligent secretive creature. They seem to show up everywhere, not just the Northwest. There are many reports of vanishing Bigfoots. Bigfoot/UFO sightings, etc. The smell associated with Bigfoot is similar to the smell described near other strange phenomena, including the Flatwoods monster.
