Martian or Rock?
Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper presents for your viewing pleasure a photograph of either: (a) a Martian having a stroll around his or her neighborhood; (b) a Martian lounging around on a rock while catching a bit of sun; or (c) a slightly human-like chunk of old rock.
Personally, I say chunk of old rock.
It’s clearly not walking, as the “legs” seem fused to the rock below, and appear more like a solid mass. Could “it” be taking a relaxing break on the rock and genially waving to a friend? I suppose so. But I seriously doubt it. Could it be one of the ominous shadow people? I suppose so. But, again, I seriously doubt it.
But do I find the whole thing vastly entertaining? YES!

A very peculiar screw-like rock formation, eroded by winds (adn maybe even water?).
If that was an alien strolling, those folks sure walk slow! Shouldn’t the image be slightly blurred or something when captured by the rover’s camera?
Or maybe it’s a distant cousin of that rock being that appeared in one Star Trek episode

These tiny Martians have learned to disguise themselves as rocks so they won’t be found out by the Earth robots.

How weird, I have an old photo I took of a friend (no, she didn’t look like a sasquatch) that reminds me of this pose. It actually kind of looks like a mermaid sitting on a rock. I bet Hoagland can’t keep his pants on.

I’ve figured out what the “being” is: it’s a lost hiker inadvertently caught on film after mistakenly wandering into the part of Area 51 where NASA faked the Mars landings…
