Nick: All I do is read -- about a book a day. Your book was a VERY excellent read. I love the ribald humor, the warm sense of adventure, the concrete descriptions and the embrace of the mysterious. I had an amazing flying dream last night over the woods behind my folks' house, inspired by your book which I, of course, read while sitting in full-lotus doing spirit travel at a pizza joint. haha.

Those woods in the St. Croix river valley, bordering MN and WI, are right where I saw a huge mountain lion stalking my ecology college buddies up for a visit in 1993 and right where I saw the big black triangle with the plasma balls, each a different color in 1997. There were cattle mutilations nearby causing a rancher adjacent to the Carlos Avery wildlife refuge to flee in terror. I was told this by a former newspaper employee in the area who showed me a three-ring binder of UFO photos from a flap the area experienced in the 1970s. She said that the area is part of a military flight corridor.

Excellent read Nick! Also I think I had Chupachabra breath this morning when I woke up. haha.

Hmm. FATE should be available at Magus books in town here, although it's produced south of town where my ex-girlfriend's family lives, by the zoo. haha.

Anyway when it's raining and you ride a bike in Minneapolis then it's time to sit down for a nice read: Memoirs of a Monster Hunter. Thanks Nick!
