Beyond “Best Evidence”
This looks to be interesting: a new venture from Paul Kimball:
Whether they believe or not, people all over the world are fascinated by the subject of UFOs. In 2007 documentary filmmaker Paul Kimball’s film Best Evidence: Top 10 UFO Sightings, became one of the best-reviewed and highly regarded UFO-related documentaries ever.
Using the format of a Top 10 countdown, as determined by a panel of some of the world’s leading UFO researchers, the film looked at the 10 best UFO cases to date. Many were unknown to the general public, who for years have been fed tales of crashed flying saucers and government cover-ups at the expense of real evidence that shows that there is something unexplained happening in the sky.
In 2008 Kimball proposes to follow up the success of Best Evidence with Beyond Best Evidence. Yes, there will be new cases discussed, but Beyond Best Evidence will address the more important question of what this massive body of evidence means. Are we being visitied by aliens from other worlds? Is the UFO phenomenon a manifestation of the human subconscious? Are the UFOs time travelers, or from other dimensions, or even parallel worlds? Or, as some people still insist, can all of these cases be explained away in prosaic terms?
In Best Evidence, Kimball used his training as a lawyer to make the case to the general public that the UFO phenomenon is an objective reality that was worthy of serious study and consideration. In Beyond Best Evidence, he will put the various possibilities to the jury of public opinion, and offer a summation that will be difficult for even the most vehement skeptics to refute - that we are not alone, and that the UFO phenomenon represents a non-human intelligence that has been interacting with us for thousands of years.

What about the right to remain silent? haha. Ah John Cooke — read the new book “The Tyrannicide Brief” — he hung the King but can Kimball hang the Lizard King? Doesn’t look like it! haha.
Seriously though “a non-human intelligence” is a reductionist definition while nonwestern philosophy relies on “intelligence” as formless consciousness not containable to an entity.
