They were a staple part of mid-to-late 1970s Ufology, and provoked all sorts of theories: aliens, secret biowarfare experimentation, satanic cults, predators and more. They were, of course, cattle mutilations. And, as I demonstrated in my book, Strange Secrets, even the FBI got involved in this particularly intriguing avenue for a while.

Now - according to some - the mutilations (and by definition, the mutilators, too) are back. Here’s the story.
