An Alien Shoot-Out?

Most will dismiss this new and sensational UFO story as nonsense - either the work of fantasists or hoaxers.

Frankly, I don’t for one minute believe that it has actual validity.

However, taking into consideration the long and bizarre history of official manipulation of the UFO subject (as well as the people in it) by shady elements of US Intelligence, I have to wonder if this new story is merely the latest in a long line of controversies that include the MJ12 documents, the SERPO saga, the Bennewitz scandal (as told in Greg’s Project Beta), and more.

There will be certain people in Ufology who will love this new story because it’s exciting and, frankly, it’s exactly the sort of thing that certain elements want to hear. But before we all begin foaming at the mouth with that same excitement, we should ask the question: how and why are these insiders seemingly managing to get this (presumably Top Secret) data out to the public at large?

Some might say that the official world is planning to reveal to us everything of an ET-nature, and that this new release is prime evidence of such a plan.

On the other hand, it may just be the latest attempt to manipulate the UFO community by Intel spooks whose main goal is to see who sits up and takes notice and determine who is speaking with who.

Sometimes, the truth of affairs such as this - and as SERPO and MJ12 have demonstrated - are far weirder than anything that real ETs could ever offer.

Yup, I think it’s a bunch of cobblers, too. Why this Serpo stuff continues is quite beyond me.

I find it somewhat odd that this VICTOR guy hasn’t been uncovered yet. Someone close to the Serpo site must know who this guy is,… surely…????

So guys, what’s your take on this Victor Martinez guy, who is privvy with all these “insiders”? Is he the next Paul Bennewitz? Could he actually be in contact with people who have real info?

As far as this russian shoot-out… I dunno. UFOs hovering over nuclear silos and military bases does make sense (well, at least the most sense we can have in this weird phenomenon) as a display of power. But an actual landing with 4 occupants trying to interact with trigger-easy commies?? The story sure sounds bogus, the same as the so-called “3 Gate incident” that is also relatively new in th Serpo website.

On the other hand, Gordon Cooper recalled in one of his interviews having witnessed the actual landing of a saucer in a base where he was working with experimental planes, but after a few moments the disc took off and disappear. Again, as a display of power I could understand it. But I guess I’m making the old time mistake of implying HUMAN motivations into non-human beings.

Personally, I think most people who are on the receiving end of this sort of material tend to accept it as what it is (Bennewitz certainly did).

Unfortunately, that works in the favor of the disinformers, who are looking for exactly that response - as well as seeing who is talking and networking with who, following the threads etc.

Could it be true? Well, it *could* be; and as Red Pill Junkie notes, hovering over silos does make sense - certainly there are official FOIA reports that detail such silo encounters from the US in 1975.

But to me it still sounds like a sci-fi scenario.

I’ll be following developments and alert readers to any updates that may appear.
