What of some types of ET's have been here all along - and have 'invaded'/influenced humanity on a non-physical level a long, long time ago? If we consider just the parallels with demonology and ET's multi-dimensionality and that they could be the same phenomenon, then this could be the case. If so, the battle has been being waged through us for some time.
