Not because he had the chance to go to the Expo, but because he had a mom with a passion for the subject and they went together on these little trips to sheck out places where a sighting had ocurred. What great conversations they may have had; what a great mother-son bond.

My mum never cared about any of the stuff I read in the books (she still doesn’t not even when I go all apocalyptic with my global-warming fears), but at least she always let me be.
