Crop Circles 2007
Britain’s first Crop Circle of the 2007 season was found yesterday, around noon. Its location: a field near Devizes, Wiltshire, the one English county that more than any other is associated with the on-going Crop Circle issue. The formation measures 333-feet across and a photograph of the Circle can be found here.

Its so crazy that people just do this for fun.

Most actually do it because they consider what they do as a type of artwork; but instead of using a canvas they use fields. The media and many crop circle researchers consider the human element to be “hoaxers,” but it goes far deeper than that. Most circle makers get satisfaction out of the fact that their work creates a positive emotional rrsponse in people.

The first thing I thought when looking at this picture is that it is a picture of the Earth. Anyone else get that?
April 16th, 2007 at 1:01 pm
so you mean the crop circles are fake? I never knew nor came up with a theory
April 16th, 2007 at 1:01 pm
kool but I thought the circles where real
April 16th, 2007 at 1:02 pm
hmm…interesting I thought they were real

well, it depends on whay you mean by “real.” They are real; because people can go into the fields and see them, and walk into them.
Some human circle makers (like Matthew Williams) believe that they are being guided by non-human intelligences to make them. So, in other words, the circle makers believe that there *is* a form of “alien” presence at work in the Circles, but that it uses people to create the designs.
Of course, some researchers outright hate the human circle makers and consider them trouble-makers confusing the facts.

Love the blog- but I do have a question about the crop circle phenom- if it’s true they’re human-made, are there ever any imperfect crop circles? Those I’ve seen have always been incredibly precise, at least from a distance. Is there a collection of lop-sided, poorly designed circles- something that would signify a human element?
I guess Vallee has always seemed to offer the most sensible theory- microwaves fired from satellites.

Galactus:
Interesting question: yes, there are some imperfect ones; but perhaps not as many as you might expect if it was *all* due to the human element; so that’s one of the reasons why I still keep an open mind on it all.

Sorry to be blunt, but if you think all crop circles are man made, your an idiot who hasen’t done enough research on the topic.
There are elements to a genuine crop circle that can not be due to man made construction.
Microscopic bits of metal magnetically aligned. Plant nodes exploded from the inside. Radiation.
If anyone can explain how someone would go about doing this I would love to hear it…here is more proof

To the best of my knowledge, no one (not even the most hardened skeptic) says that all formations are man made. Even some of those people that do not see anything paranormal in the creation of circles have suggested some may be due to weather etc.
Now, I totally disagree with that theory - completely. The “weather” angle is absurd.
However, there is absolutely no doubt that there are teams of people (and some who work alone) who are extremely skilled when it comes to creating such formations - and undercover of darkness too.
Did you ever see Matthew Williams’ formations made in New Zealand for Japanese TV - very good creations, complex and they amazed a lot of people.
However, the Japanese taped Matthew making them, thus proving that what some people assumed were other-worldy because of their sheer complexity, were not.
However, there is no doubt that even the circle makers have had unusual experiences in their own formations. Matthew Williams has experienced missing time, seen weird balls of light flying over his *own* formations, and believes that some intelligence may guide the human makers to create their own designs.

Here is the link to a couple of photos of the Crop Circle formations made by Matthew Williams for Japanese TV while in New Zealand:
http://www.memorologyllc.com/CropCircleInfo/DemonstrationInNewZealand1.htm
As you’ll see, they are impressive and one in particular closely resembles a formation that previously appeared in the UK and that some believe to be evidence of something strange.
Yes, there are anomalies reported in some formations. Paradoxically, some are reported in the known man-made formations.
So, this demonstrates that something unusual is afoot, but it does not answer the how or why.
All I know for certain is this: if you completely eradicate all the human makers from Wiltshire, England every summer, the number of formations found may be close to non-existent.
Oh, and before I forget: no I’m not an idiot; nor do I make proclamations without checking out the facts for myself.
Up until around 2001, I spent weeks every year in the UK traveling down to the Crop Circle area (predominantly the county of Wiltshire) and spent time with both the researchers and the human circle makers.
If you were to do that, you would probably come away with a slightly different view.

However Nick do you realize crop circles have been found for centuries? Check out this link: http://www.crystalinks.com/croptheories.html
So do you think crop circle makers have been around that long, or that it is indeed possible that some sort of “external forces” create them?
April 3rd, 2008 at 3:00 pm
Jeannie
Yes, there’s good evidence of crop circle style formations from centuries-past.
And I do think that external forces could be inviolved.
The big irony is that many people view the people who make crop circles as “hoaxers” or “fakers”.
However, many will privately (if not publicly) admit that they have had weird experiences in circles or that they have felt guided to make them - and that possibly they have opened a door that involves ritual magic.
So, as for the older crop circles, I think as with the new ones there’s an external force - but that it may use people as its tool to create at least some of them.
Others may well be purely external.
