Booked for McMinnville!

Heard that rooms are hard to come by in McMinnville, OR for the UFO Fest, but we were lucky enough to book for two nights at a chain motel. (No pool! But our first choices were booked.) Not our first choice by any means — two years ago we had a suite, complete with huge sunken whirlpool at the Comfort Inn — but it’ll do. At least we have rooms and know that we’ll be able to attend.

Despite the criticisms regarding Jim Sparks, I am looking forward to this one. Always interested in the reptilian encounters! And while Sparks may be full of it, or partly so, or confused, isn’t it possible, as I suspect, that the reptilian encounters of Jim Sparks and other “reptilian contactees” are real? By “real” I mean that, as far as the witnesses are concerned, the reptilians and encounters are real to them, because whatever intelligent, trickster like force that is responsible for these supernatural lizard theater performances is putting on a grand show. Don’t be so smug to dismiss the stories of those who report encounters with reptilians. Like other contactees and abductees, and all those with high strangeness experiences, there’s more behind the curtain. If we reject these weirdness episodes as just silly stories, we’re missing a huge piece of the puzzle.

Linda Moultan Howe, who was at the McMinnville conference in 2011 will be one of the speakers again this year. The McMinnville UFO Fest site doesn’t tell us what Howe’s presentation will be about, just that she will be. Good enough.

The first speaker in the line-up is Nick Pope, and George Knapp, my favorite host on Coast to Coast and all around UFO investigator, is also set to appear. Looking forward to this one and will report on more when conference time comes around.
