UFO or Blimp?

Last night I was relaxing on the couch when my cell phone alerted me that I had a new message on facebook. Gotta love technology.

My nephew Brandon and his friend Richard were out in a rowboat on the lake near their home in Thompson, Ohio. Approximately 7 miles from the shores of Lake Erie, when they heard a whiny-type engine sound. It was not loud. They looked up and just above the trees they spotted a gigantic object traveling at about 20 mph.

They described the object as the size of 5 airplanes, silvery with 3 white lights and one blinking red light. The object then dipped below the trees and they did not see it again.

They began rowing frantically to get off the lake, because at this time, they had no reason to doubt the existence of UFO’s or aliens! They were about a half mile from home. I can’t imagine how shook up they were.

When he told me about the whiny engine, my mind immediately jumped to a blimp. We do get a lot of those around here and I can imagine that one flying at 9:45 p.m. would be shocking to see, especially that close-up!

I spent the next hour talking to him on the phone and advised the boys to write up their reports separately and to send them to Aaron B. Clarke of the Cleveland Ufology Project.

I do not know the protocol to check out sightings with the FAA etc. so I will leave it int he hands of professionals!

Whether it was a UFO or a blimp, these boys had a summer night thrill that they will remember for the rest of their lives!

I bet that was a big black triangle — they make the same humming noise, fly low, have three white lights and one colored light (that changes from red, green, etc.) It flies low and slow and then people see it basically disappear.

I saw one in 1997 — full one sighting of the craft itself. It’s military. Redfern has the military records on this triangle craft from 1952 I think — U.S. air force base in the U.K.

I consider that one document from Redfern to possibly be the most important document in ufology — because it casts aside all this speculation about e.t.s. Sure then people claim — oh but the military is working with the extraterrestrials. haha.

Can anyone provide some clarifying followup on this statement? What records and where has Nick published these?
