Our friend Jerry E Smith died early this morning, around 12:30 am. He passed away at home in Kempton, Illinois. He was cared for by his friends and coworkers in Kempton- most notably his friend Chris, who selflessly looked after Jerry over the last several months. Jerry had been battling Pancreatic Cancer. I never met Jerry in person, but I enjoyed the interaction I had with him on the internet.  I will miss him and I am sure a lot of people will.

   I appeared on a show with Jerry once, and then talked on the phone with him for 2 hours. Nice guy who will be sorely missed.
