Laughlin and UFO Art With Mike Clelland Tonight
Mike Clelland, who provided the artwork for Mac Tonnies’ book, will be our guest on Radio Misterioso tonight. Mike was at the recent International UFO Congress in Laughlin, Nevada, and will give us a report on what he saw and heard there.
For those who don’t know about Mike, he reports a lifetime of strange and continuing experiences at his blog Hidden Experience. His artwork is showcased at Little Boing Marks. By his own admission, some of his work is influenced by Robert Crumb, and if you know Crumb’s work, it’s obvious. He was also buds with our friend Mac, who used some of Mike’s insights in the text of The Cryptoterrestrials.
Mike has a very personal take on the UFO subject. It’s delivered with both a sense of wonder and not a little skepticism. He’s not afraid to admit some very personal things on his site, but stops short of assigning any sort of grandiose importance to them. Perhaps this is why I keep reading.

I’m the Mike guy who got interviewed.
During the live recording of Radio-Mysterioso the ONLY question from a listener (via email) was: “What are your thoughts about Kent Daniel Bentkowski?” What? I almost dropped the phone!
It was a freaky bit of syncrho-weirdness to have someone ask me about Kent, because right before the interview, I’d been finalizing a posting about Kent, and at that point it was still UN-posted! The listening audience got to hear my already mumbly voice descend into out-and-out stupification.
I hope I didn’t pontificate to a live audience that synchronicities abound and this is a profound example of the deeper mystical meaning of the universe.
There’s even more, and it’s synchro-LAME! The next (March 8th) I got an email from Greg. It seems that the “listener” with the above question was Adam Gorightly (someone I’ve never met), and he knew full well that I had been working on a post with audio from Kent. Earlier in the day (march 7th) I had emailed him to ask for his permission to use an excerpt from an interview between him and Kent.
Gee-Whiz, it seems I was at the receiving end of a childish prank! Let the world know, equally childish retaliation is in order!
