Pentagon Shooter Had UFO Book On Wishlist
Loren Coleman’s Twilight Language blog takes a look at the books on John Patrick Bedell’s Amazon wishlist. Bedell was shot on Thursday by Pentagon police as he attempted to storm a subway entance armed with two 9mm pistols. He was dead from his wounds as of this morning.
Coleman highlights Bedell’s choice of Exempt From Disclosure, written by Robert Collins (with a chapter contribution by Richard Doty) and first published in 2005. He expresses surprise that the book was on Bedell’s list, although the title could be the sole reason or its inclusion. Bedell’s other choices include titles about 9/11 conspiracies and exposes of the Bush family and U.S. intelligence agencies, and are far outnumbered by books about finance and the stock market.
Loren also expresses relief that none of the books which he authored are on the list. I don’t think I’d want the FBI knocking on my door if Bedell had ordered a copy of Project Beta either, even if it caused a temporary spike in sales.

Having read Exempt from Disclosure – Bedell was lucky it was only on his wish list. Not something that should be on anyone’s bucket list before committing suicide by cop.
