Fields of Fear

Cattle-mutilations have, of course, been linked to the UFO subject by many researchers for numerous years – and far more than a bit of space (both printed and online) has been devoted to the notion that skinny, pale, hairless creatures (no, not me!) are using the Earth’s cattle in some vaguely-defined operation that revolves around genetics, biowarfare and more.

Of course, the ET-angle isn’t the only theory that has been put forward: secret government experimentation (again of a bio-warfare nature); cults; hoaxers; and predators have all been suggested as viable candidates.

One person with a particular interest in the phenomenon is a good friend of me and the Gregster: Paul Kimball of Halifax, Canada’s Red Star Films. Approximately (I think) 4 years ago, I traveled to Puerto Rico with Paul and a film-crew, where we dug deep into the mystery of the Chupacabras; as well as the claims of a connection to mutilated farm-animals.

After our return, Paul incorporated some of that footage into a good, solid documentary called Fields of Fear; which, I’m very pleased to say, you can now find in its entirety at YouTube. Check it out below! I think you’ll be very moooved by the show (ho-ho).

Nick thanks for posting this. I blogged on Kimball maybe a month ago after I discovered “Fields of Fear.” Also his ghost show is great considering the biologist heart throb attracts so much paranormal activity. haha. Anyway I just blogged on Richard Dolan and he cites some high level military document stating that the black triangle lifted up the cow using laser beams or whatever. Now Dolan argues that we indeed have extraterrestrial alien craft and there’s been some sort of reverse-engineering — sort of the standard ETH angle — only doped up on Dolan’s quasi-Rhodes scholarship. haha. O.K. so my area had a mass sighting of a triangle craft in 1978 and Brad Ayers of Hynek’s Center for UFO Studies interviewed people. There were also cattle mutilations with the sighting and one rancher moved due to fear. Also a lady had missing time and under hypnosis said she had been lifted up into the craft as an abduction.

This stuff is just too crazy for me especially since a big black triangle craft flew right over the hill and tree and our garage — I could have hit it with a rock. I didn’t dare take my eyes off the craft because I didn’t want missing time. Little did I know how right I was. But I still think it’s military and not little gray aliens.

Also Robert Hastings questioned your triangle documents — of a triangle craft at a U.S. base in the U.K. in the late 1940s. Dolan even has records of the triangle craft being refueled in the air by a standard military craft. So I think this stuff triangle-laser-abduction stuff is post-Nazi-Tesla technology and not big-headed gray aliens, especially when you consider your biowarfare Unit 173 expose on Roswell. But Robert Hastings claims both you and Greg were taken for a ride by Doty.

    Drew:

That’s weird re Doty with respect to me, as I’ve never met the man, never emailed with him, and never spoke with him – ever. It’s difficult, therefore, to see how he might have taken me for a ride!

Thanks for posting this Nick. Puerto Rico was a lot of fun – too bad the chupie stuff didn’t make F-F… but John Rosborough and I are discussing using it to make a chupie doc this year, so it may yet see the light of day. :-)

Well here it is (from abovetopsecret) — I have to admit I felt bad for Robert Hastings because he was obviously having a very emotional reaction. I assume he’s invested a lot in his book and I do look forward to reading it:

Drew Hempel: Redfern then told me that he had documented a triangle craft – just as all these other sightings — equilateral – no fuselage — only this was at a military base in the U.K. — a U.S. military base — 1949 I think. It was in the late 1940s.

RH: Highly doubtful but I am interested in the specifics, if you can provide them. Redfern is another well-intentioned but gullible soul who got taken by retired OSI disinfo agent/now chronic liar Richard Doty. If Redfern can fall for Doty’s BS, I wonder about the credibility of his other “sources.”

The real film, “Island of Blood,” is just about done.

  6. Nick Redfern Says:

    Drew:

Weird: the docs in question are at the National Archives in Maryland – they’re contained in the AFOSI documents that accompany the main collection of Blue Book files.

Again, I have never emailed, spoken with (in person or via phone), exchanged letters with, or met with Richard Doty – ever.

  7. Nick Redfern Says:

    Paul

    Cool, looking forward to it!

  9. Greg Bishop Says:

My present thoughts on Robert Hastings:

He claims that Doty was Falcon based on two sources: Doty (through Linda Howe) and the word of the producer of “UFO Coverup Live” (who was told this by either Doty or someone else from AFOSI.)

So who is being “taken for a ride?”

His research, while usually thorough, appears to display a propensity to be led by his beliefs rather than a true desire to get at the real story.

“His research, while usually thorough, appears to display a propensity to be led by his beliefs rather than a true desire to get at the real story.”

I concur, but would also add that his ego and combativeness gets in the way of constructive dialogue.

  11. drew hempel Says:

Greg — thanks for responding. Your research is getting very positive attention in a new thread at abovetopsecret.

Robert Hastings made a very interesting comment — that he knows of another author who has a forthcoming book proving that Bennewitz saw actual UFOs and NOT secret military craft — the logical assumption again being that UFOs, by definition, can not be secret military craft. I always love this new definition of UFO as inherently ETH. haha. Anyway here it is from abovetopsecret:

Drew Hempel: O.K. so Robert you are referring to a “mystery” author of a forthcoming Bennewitz book — the name has to remain a secret? That’s HILARIOUS!

RH: The researcher in question has specifically asked me not to reveal his name until the book is published. You find *that* hilarious? Perhaps honoring promises is not part of your own modus operandi.

Further, given your seemingly perpetual cluelessness, in your earlier post you not only jumped to conclusions about the author but also misinterpreted my remark about the information that will be forthcoming: This person has definitive photographic evidence of UFO activity at the Manzano WSA, not evidence of secret military activity at Kirtland, as Doty claims, and Bishop repeated.
