UFOs: The Fourth Kind
Over at Mania.com, you can find a new article from me on the subject of Alien Abductions, and which is tied in with the release of the new abduction-driven movie: The Fourth Kind. Here’s the link.
On a completely different matter, I’ll be speaking at Ryan Wood’s annual UFO Crash Retrieval Conference this coming weekend Nov 6-8; so if you’ll be there, come over and say hi! Greg will be along too to hang out.

Very good article. Enjoyed it. I am always amazed that folks are so quick to “diagnose” people they have never met with a psycosis. (referring to comments following article) Or say someone is just dreaming. I’m not a “true believer” since I prefer the Paul Kimball approcach of a healthy open minded skeptisicm (as opposed to religous atheisim masquariding as skepticism.) But it’s amazing to me that even in my hometown paper whenever they do an article (rarely)on anyting paranormal they break out the sterotypes of little green men and tin foil hats. Ya can’t “investigate” something you have already judged to be false. Anyway, thanks Nick.

Your argument goes both ways, tyder. I am always amazed at folks that are so quick to believe as honest, credible, and accurate, people they have never met. Ya can’t “investigate” something you have already judged to be true.
Nevertheless, I enjoy being told a good story and The Fourth Kind sounds like it might be a good story.

It indeed does go both ways. That’s why I don’t go along with anybody with a religous agenda be it atheist or saint.
I have my own life experience and I wake up in my own skin everyday. When the day comes that I wake up “outside” my skin maybe I’ll know more than I know now. But until I do/don’t I will continue my “exploration.”

I’ve seen one review so far, which roundly panned the film. I expect I’ll
go see it anyway…
