Alien Contact
From today’s Anomalist:
How Would We Handle First Contact? Mysterious Universe. If aliens were confirmed, would you panic or party? Using studies by various professional groups, data suggests that we may indeed be prepared for such news… or not. From long term studies of how we, as humans, may or may not share a sort of brain functionality, the data collected bares evidence that we may unknowingly participate in a sort of collective mind that can pass acceptance or prejudice around like a common virus, Other panels suggest evidence that prophetic dreams help shape our lives and our understanding of it and yet other results point to the notion that we simply influence everyone around us in ways unaware to us. So the question stands unanswered. What would you do?

Wait so the “fat plague” is part of the UFO meme? haha. At least the article links to Greg’s take on it. BTW I listened to the Paratopia interview with Greg Bishop — excellent! Good luck with the gliders. haha.
Seriously though Nick have you seen the recent Ecuadorian Air Force “Disclosure” video? — they show the UFO then state the U.S. military told them it’s extraterrestrial. It’s over at ATS.
ATS has a new thread on whether we can handle UFO disclosure as well. I mean to say that aliens are more popular than Jesus! The second coming is on the back burner! haha. The British Invasion (more popular than Jesus) is no longer blues-electrified — it’s electrified Alien Abduction!
And then these studies that scrambled rationalism — that a schizoid meta-state enables BETTER recognition — “knowledge without awareness.” — Like a zen-intuitive UFO interaction — a mutual hypnotic illusion. As ATS notes even the CERN LHC physicists are arguing that the FUTURE is communicating with and changing the present so that science can not discover the God Particle. That the FACT that these huge accelerators keep breaking down just PROVES that the Higgs Field creates the God Particle. haha.
CERN = Crop Circle = Alien Invasion.

This whole argument ASSUMES that there exist any ETs that would want to choose to contact us in the first place. That is just a childish fantasy. Think about it, a race sufficiently advanced as the ETs would have to be, is a race that would have absolutely nothing in common with us. It would be like a normal person trying to have a technical conversation with a retard. As the Chinese say, it would be like a chicken trying to talk to a duck.
