Love in an Alien Purgatory

Just published by Anomalist Books is Love in an Alien Purgatory: The Life and Fantastic Art of David Huggins, written by Farah Yurdozu.

As the publisher states:

In 1951, a young boy in rural Georgia was visited and abducted by group of alien visitors from an unknown dimension. That contact continued over several decades and resulted in the birth of more than sixty hybrid children… and one of the most remarkable stories in all of UFO lore. LOVE IN AN ALIEN PURGATORY is the startling pictorial account of David Huggins’ hidden life, as revealed in his own vivid and sometimes disturbing paintings.

With commentary and text by UFO investigator Farah Yurdozu, David’s story takes the reader into a world between two dimensions: a purgatory of hope, sex, fear and, ultimately, love. This is a LARGE format Trade Paperback that measures 8.5 by 11 inches and contains 84 images of paintings by David Huggins, most of which are in FULL COLOR. Note: MATURE CONTENT.

Huggins’ art pieces ad account are very intriguing. I’ll definitely add this one to my wish list.

I’ve just read in a blog that Mr. Huggins is not exactly thrilled with the title the editor chose for the book —altough it seems his “friends” from far away think it’s fine ;-)

I’ve created my own artwork based on my own experiences and attitude towards the phenomena, which can be viewed at Box.net(if you give me your email address I can send an invite to view the montage work, coloured pencil drawings and careful use of wording/ words in both): It was on my website ‘Alien Society. org’ but only drew 200 people in a year, so I gave up on it and resorted to putting my ideas out on forums and now blogs like this.
