Google Sets Sights on “Unexplained Phenomenon”

Google has its logo changed to reflect historic events or holidays, but today (September 4th) the mighty search engine’s logo features one of the “o”s beaming up to a flying saucer. The Google sites for other countries and languages appear to have the logo in English with the same (English) graphic.
The apparent reason is that “unexplained phenomenon” is the number one top trend right now in online search phrases, I suppose beating out such popular terms as “Michael Jackson” and “MILF.” The first thing I thought on reading this news was that it’s taken this long for interest in the paranormal to re-emerge after late 2001 when much of the U.S. population (which makes up the most internet users after China) were more worried about terrorist attacks than UFOs.

Fabulous! Unexplained phenomena and unsolved – and unsolvable – mysteries are the stuff that keeps life interesting. We’ve always thought that there is more to our little worlds than meets the eye, and there is evidence of mystery all around us, every day, if we but only open our eyes and see it.
What an excellent time for Juanita Rose Violini’s new book to be coming out, Almanac Of The Infamous, The Incredible, And The Ignored. Sorry to be such a blatant plug, but it really is perfect timing. 365 days of real-life mysteries and unexplained phenomena, to remind us every day of what the world’s really made of. Just what the doctor ordered right now.
Google’s on the ball, all right.

Damn. The headline for this article had me thinking that Google was launching an investigation into the sourcing of unexplained anomalies on their satellite ‘Google Earth’ imagery.
How cool would that be? If there is anything that could get the world thinking about the reality of UFOs its the biggest tech corporation announcing an investigation like that.
I guess the real reason for the article is still interesting though. I wonder what’s driving the interest lately.

Unless it’s related to the Stargate Conspiracy — Google does help out China in censorship and probably works with the CIA. This is strange cause I was going to blog a post called “Privatizing the Paranormal” today BEFORE I read your post Greg. Notice how Dolan’s been emphasizing that UFO technology has been privatized….Google probably has reverse-engineered alien technology — I hope the Disclosure Project gets on this pronto. Demand that Google hand over their documents proving that the don’t have alien technology.
I spent the day watching Josh Gates “catch-up” special show (I just started watching cable on a regular basis — and didn’t know about his cryptid exotic paranormal travel show). I then listened to a podcast interview with him and checked out his website — TONS of commericals.
He mentions in this blogradio interview how his show ultimately is controlled by G.E. and therefore he has to be careful about his safety during his travel in exotic locales — hinting at the terrorist anti-U.S. culture. But he has a new show on Chernobyl and said it was the scariest place he’s been to, totally abandoned and radioactive…. yet G.E. has nothing to do with nuclear power plants in the U.S. that are rapidly breaking down…. psych!
He’s gonna have a show on UFOs this season as well — heads up Greg!
Here’s my angle on the Stargate Conspiracy — promote and assimilate the ancient mysteries as a way to justify the need and development of future technology (nuclear especially). Control the locals with the high-tech infrared, etc. We need nukes because of cosmic catastrophes predicted by ancient mysteries secretly engineered by advanced aliens who are really just future humans.

Of course the mystic draws us (See Einstein’s quote on this as a driving force). In fact the whole of human existence works on this principle and the alien phenomena is no different. We all seek entertainment by pursuing the other because it frees us from the constraints of the known self (body of evidence/ paradigm).
It’s more Twilight Zone than Outer Limits – more Babylon Five’s Shadow Wars, than Star Trek’s Klingon or Romulan Empires etc. The whole thing isn’t about phenomena but mind set and understanding, which manipulates the whole of reality: Grasping and letting go of concepts (enlightenment and endarkenment or getting drawn into and escaping from Zen Koan traps (The goose in the bottle). It’s pursuit of the bright, elusive, butterfly of love: Material gain is always disappointing (answers/ objects/ bodies), when compared to the chase (Seeking the new, the different, the unknown and trying to escape the boring, the certain, the same).
This explains the current existential crisis we’re in and the use of psychological terms to describe the economy (depression/ interest) and the Schirmer case comment of ‘We want you to believe in us but not too much’. Think of all the gadgets that have come into the world and proliferated through simple ‘belief’ (cars, submarines, planes, computers, phones, mobiles etc). We’re always on the cusp of yesterday and tomorrow, which we call the present. Have we the courage to abandon our personal or social history and move on as a race/ individual or do we want to wallow in identity? (The future has no identity – the past is nothing but that).
It’s a market out there of competing ‘beliefs’. ‘See the latest trick! The latest marvel! Roll up, roll up! Get the latest view of reality here. Don’t go to that beings stall – look what I’ve got to offer and cheap at the price – all I want is your soul! It’s all distraction techniques as used by magicians like the Amazing Randi but who is really fooling who? (Squire of Gothos episode of original Star Trek series/ Trying to teach your granny to suck eggs). There can be no growth without innocence – hence religion (breakdown and rebirth of the ego or the death of guilt and knowing: It’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter heaven).
We make the world with our beliefs and destroy (deconstruct it) with our disbelief (The man who knows everything in the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and ‘doubt’/ The Matrix as illusion created by the mind). We can stay here and stagnate, both physically and mentally or progress through abandoning all certainty, all dominance. I think the aliens want us to ‘learn to walk’on our own two feet, like all good parents and that means recognizing that life is voluntary and that we have to do everything of our own volition. This is why they play charades with us because we have to learn to use our minds, to fill our bodies with experience, not expect to be spoon fed reality on a plate because it loses all value, having been given for free not earned through effort (no effort out, no value in). They are not here to save us but to get us to save ourselves (No-one breathes for you, eats for you etc and if they did, you’d just be a comatose corpse, not a living being).

One last (forgotten) point. Why religion/ spirituality/ innocence and progress? Because the pessimistic don’t try. Negativity is blaming others for the state you’re in, while doing nothing to change the situation yourself. It’s not trusting and taking a leap of faith but holding onto solid certainty, even if that means wallowing in a mire of stagnant certainty. The optimistic, the positive throw caution to the wind and everything they own away, so that they find something new by jettisoning the old, rather than being weighed down by it (grave thoughts/ gravity).

And another thing, how you view any phenomena will depend upon whether you an actor facing an effect or a back room boy, producing it (This also is the way I see the difference between abductees and contactees – the former are victims of events beyond their control, (at least that’s what they think) and the former are co-producers of it): See theory below (Systemic Universe/ 2 Worlds Exchange)for further details.
I believe that reality works in part on the following principle that I designate The Accumulation/ Discharge Cycle (input/ output dynamic). It can be seen in the motion of everything physical and through emotion as a vehicle for change. It includes thought and action as opposing pairs, which like electric polarity, moves from one state to another. The way I see it is that it is no coincidence that certain characteristics go with one or the other e.g. thought and doubt, action and confidence – to act is to believe as to stand back and observe is to disbelieve: This particular idea I call The Artist Effect because it is about stepping forward to act (alter) as we step back to examine what has been done, in order to judge if anything further needs to be altered or not (Speeding things up for effect (warmth) or slowing them down for clarity (cooling them down)).
This cycle includes everything from sex, the seasons, the tide to peristaltic contractions, blood circulation etc.(The Vacuole Effect or sucking in new experience and blowing out waste products (old ideas) – in fact you could say that as we go through the universe, the universe goes through us and that things don’t so much change as exchange (no death, just transformation)). In emotional terms this means that to deprogram our minds and reprogram them with new experiences, we must dump our old prejudices by expressing them. This allows us to move on physically and explore the world again with new eyes (sound is energy moving (expanding/ relaxing) as sight is transfixed attention, that hold us in thrall (intellect or insight/ understanding as opposed to the mystery that moves us i.e. the war between reason and feeling (science versus religion) or feminine and masculine directions of energy/ attention.
My theory applies to even the state society is in at present.  We’ve projected ourselves forward in time like one of those Slinky toys that roll down stairs as we’ve discharged post war inhibitions, creating a society where anything is possible, good or bad, leading to the soft, flabby over-indulged (see Carlos Castenada’s Don Juan about this term) child we see now: Decadent materialism as opposed to spirituality – full stop on progress of society because individual whim has taken over from the needs of the other (we’re lost in pursuit of fancy cars, big houses and foreign holidays to the detriment of our social conscience, which has just become something else to put right by throwing money at it, instead of personal involvement).
This moving from one state to another, is what causes the visual distortion of things appearing smaller or larger than they are or The Alice in Wonderland effect of ‘eat me/ drink me’(over-confidence in physical mode of operation, leading to mis-judgements and accidents in our actions or under-confidence in mental mode (certainty and doubt/ thought and action/ expansion and contraction/ withdrawal and advancement towards a subject or object):  Generalized awareness is ‘union with’ as specific awareness is ’separation from’ the main or macrocosm versus microcosm, mind versus spirit, here and now versus there and them (anywhere or any when else).  Advertising is trying to rush you into acting without thinking (reacting, not analyzing) – that is identifying ‘with’ something as happens in religion, politics and music (going with your feelings):  ’You and non-you’ as Nancy Astor put it in a book title or separation and awareness of, versus ‘union  or motion with’ and unawareness of, (Thinking is  stopping and using your eyes to see what is around you and is the opposite mode to sound/ motion, which blinds you through blurring perception:  Passive reception or being there as opposed to active transmission [projection] and going somewhere else – anything that makes you feel and move, gets you to join it as anything that makes you stop and think, keeps you separate from it ).  All aggression is defence against joining and understanding something (revelation/ sartori/ that Eureka moment or Godhead:  See film segment of ‘The Necronomican’ directed by Japanese guy, where police chase what is thought to be serial killer but instead turn out to be ancient race of creatures living underground.  In one scene the heroine is told not to worry because when her consciousness is transferred to one of these beings, her perception of right and wrong will reverse also).
The fight or flight mechanism comes into this as  stopping yourself, to see what else is around you that may be moving and that disturbed you, sending you into this state of fear as opposed to reacting to it (instant judgement) and running off i.e. going with the thought that it is too dangerous to risk staying and observing, in order to gather more data on what the actual truth is:  Our own internal processes – that is thoughts, bodily sensations (heartbeat, breathing, stomach gurgling etc.) take our attention off the outside world so that we can miss what it is trying to tell us about itself and fall victim to a potential predator.  This is the basis of meditation – to get us to settle and have the truth about reality disclosed to us as a whole.

Another angle (existential mechanics)to this is to be found in the sweeteners and free gifts, to get you in and the gangsterism to keep you in (Scientology’s heavy brigade/ The Matrix FBI/ MIB) or coercion, blackmail and actual violence.
This applies to you too as an individual – not just external suppression but internal repression and sickness as opposed to expression and health (Bodily corruption as opposed to societal corruption (crime): Again we’re back to hope (‘Opiate of the people’ Stalin) and desire as opposed to disbelief and the freedom to move on.
The question is do you want to be informed or entertained? (affected or in control).
