I had no idea Bob Dean was still on the lecture circuit (he was a regular speaker at the UFO Magazine conferences back in the UK in the 1990s); but he is. Here’s the latest, from Barcelona in July:
Well, the clip leaves me ambivalent: because on one hand Dean’s presentation had more of a religious message than a presentation of evidence; but on the other hand I feel I can’t be too cynical about a man who feels he’s at the end of his journey, as he puts it, and wants to leave a message of hope.
Interestingly enough, it seems that the organizers of this conference had a nasty problem with some people that claimed Steven Greer had made some death threats to some members of the audience —over a matter of some “free-energy engines” or something— all a bit vague and outlandish IMO.
But I guess that if you have a conference where a guy claims he’s been to Mars, then a few death threats become the least amazing of claims
Its Project Camelot so best to go in with shit guard firmly in place (lest you get covered in bullshit).
I love this little gem from the side bar on their home page:
“Bob Dean at the Barcelona Exopolitics Summit, in which he showed a number of impressive, suppressed NASA images - and at the end of which Henry Deacon went on to the stage with Kerry Cassidy to state that he had visited the Mars base as part of his classified work.”
Actually when I originally saw that quote a few days ago, it read: “…Henry Deacon went on to the stage with Kerry Cassidy to state that he had been on Mars.”
Sorry, I guess it has nothing much to do with Bob Dead, but I just thought people might get a chuckle out of it.
