Aliens & Monsters

Over at Mania.com you can find my latest Lair of the Beasts article - on a strange, decades-old story from the historic village of Avebury, England which combines cryptozoology and ufology in a distinctly weird way…
(This photo was taken by me on a 2006 trip to Avebury try and resolve certain aspects of the affair.)

Alien worms. Now that is something you don’t come across often!

In 13 years ago, I had a four day work break and did a quick tour of Glastonbury, Avebury and the western counties. I had a prophetic dream while staying at a hotel that was rumored to be haunted near Avebury. A woman that I’d never met before was mentioned by name in my dream and about a week later while attending a training class back at RAF Lakenheath, I met a young female airman with the same name! When I entered the museum at Glastonbury Abbey, a bird flew into the glass and either killed itself or knocked itself it against the glass door. I gave a lift to some young German tourists who were hitch hiking and when I stopped for gas, they disappeared even though they seemed eager to go in the direction I was headed. They’d even offered me some money for gas but I declined saying I was repaying the debt given to me the numerous times when I hitched rides in my younger days. I waited for about 15 minutes after filling for them to return but they never came back. Much strangeness abounds in the area.
