Adam Gorightly and Charles Manson Audio on Radio Misterioso Tonight

santa susana

Our old friend Adam Gorightly will be live in the studio tonight (Sunday, June 5th) to announce the new edition of his landmark book The Shadow Over Santa Susana: Black Magic, Mind Control and The “Manson Family” Mythos. Originally published in 2001, the title will be released on August 8th in a new, expanded edition from Creation Books, with a forward by Mysterious California author Mike Marinacci. Adam will be in Los Angeles for release and signing parties on the weekend of August 9th. More details as the date draws near.

In addition to yammering with us about his book and anything else that comes to mind, Gorightly will be bringing along these audio gems: Manson studio music demos from 1967, various spoken word clips, ranting from parole hearings, covers of Manson songs by other artists, Beach Boys recordings of Manson-penned compositions and recordings by “Family” member Bobby Beausoleil.

Listen from 8-10 PM PST at killradio.org. The podcast should be up at Radio Misterioso.com within a couple of days.

We instant messaged last night about the 2012 controversy and Adam came up with this quote: “Some great earth calamity will happen when we least expect it and we’ll say, ‘what the f**k’ and spin out of orbit as the sky goes black.” Just one example of the great stuff we’ll get out of him tonight.

  1. red pill junkie Says:

    Well… that was… inebriating! :-P

  2. Greg Bishop Says:

I drank two beers on an empty stomach during the program. Did it show? Was I slurring? What?

  3. red pill junkie Says:

LOL No Greg, it really didn’t show with you —although I do suspect your “Blah Blah Blah” gesture that even got Adam a little pissed was partly influenced by the ale— No, let’s just say that I hope Mr. Gorightly wasn’t the designated driver that night —otherwise he would have turned into Mr. Gosidewaysly :-P

But I’ll say this: even though I have never cared much about Manson, the interview was successful in making me want to know more about him, but I admit that if you have little background re. the assassinations and all that, the conversation was a bit hard to follow.
