The stress of this experience allegedly provoked him to have an OBE to a beautiful idyllic garden. He seems to think this was the beginning of his involvement with the Visitors. Regardless of the objectivity of his impressions, what I would like to know is if the US government has ever conducted long-term sensory deprivation studies.
