The Hill Abduction

Regan Lee has alerted me to a new article from her that focuses on (a) the Betty and Barney Hill case, and (b) her own personal response to certain imagery connected to the event.

As Regan states:

“I attended the 10th annual McMinnville, Oregon UFO Festival this weekend, and, as has been my experience with the past two events I attended, it was fun, but more importantly, informative. The main speakers were Stanton Friedman and Kathleen Marden, authors of Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience.

“I was struck by the simple, yet overlooked, fact of this story: there is physical evidence (as well as the much maligned anecdotal) that proves beyond any doubt something extremely unusual happened that night in 1961. Friedman and Marden’s work “debunks the debunkers,” and clearly outlines facts and provides solid research that supports the Hills experience.

“During the presentation, Friedman and Marden showed many images, including images of the entities the Hills saw. (Obviously the images weren’t of actual aliens, but recreations by artists.) I had a visceral reaction to one of the images shown that Betty Hill called ‘the supervisor.’ Later that night my husband asked me: ‘Do you realize you gasped and covered your eyes when that image came up?’ I hadn’t really noticed that; I just knew I found the picture, shown here, verydisturbing, and I couldn’t look at it.”

And here’s the rest of Regan’s post.

Wow you guys actually believe in the HILL “abduction”? If there was any major “abduction” case that was completely discredited, it was that one. K. Randle and others just took it apart.

    It just did not happen.

    John!

Nice to see you here on the site. My present opinion of the Hill case is that there are serious doubts as to whether the witnesses experienced what was reported.

I have written a couple of columns on this in the past.
