Roswell: An Interview

A couple of days ago Greg Taylor of The Daily Grail interviewed me about my research into Roswell, and specifically the data contained in my Body Snatchers in the Desert book, and the brand new data that has surfaced on this aspect of Roswell since the book first surfaced four years ago.
We get into a lot of areas, including:
1. New documents I have uncovered that demonstrate a Lincoln County, New Mexico/Unit 731 link;
2. The implications for Ufology if Roswell collapses (as a UFO event, at least);
3. The response to my book when it was published;
4. The possibility of a psy-op involvement, and much more.
Here’s the link to the complete article; and as a taster, here’s a brief extract below:
“I think the new data - such as that relating to official documents concerning Unit 731 and Japanese balloon-flights in not just New Mexico, but at Lincoln County, NM, too - is very important, and for several reasons. One: it adds to the general scenario given to me half a decade or more ago. And, two: who could have predicted back in 2005 that official files with a specific Unit 731/Lincoln County link would surface several years later? For me at least, that adds weight to the claims of a Japanese connection to Roswell.”
(NOTE: The photo above is of Shiro Ishii, the commander of Unit 731.)

I remember reading that PM article you refer to —must still have it somewhere amid a mountain of old mags.
What troubles me is that the new information you received appeared 7 years after the article. So, could it be that what you were told was a spin of the hypothesis proposed by PM, the same way that SERPO was a spin of common UFO lore?
Anyway, I can’t wait to read your Darklore article …although I must confess something: I haven’t read your Bodysnatchers of the Desert yet —mea culpa!— although it’s on my Amazon wish list; would you suggest postponing the reading of your Darklore article, or it won’t spoil it if I read it before Body Snatchers?

“the fact is there will be truly massive disillusionment within ufology if Roswell falls. In fact, I do not even believe that the ETH will survive within modern-day ufology if Roswell falls - the stakes reallly are that high, in my opinion. But, so what? At the end of the day, it shouldn’t matter if the “good old days” of ufology vanish. Getting the truth is all that should matter”
And the congregation says, “Amen”.

Despite what some think, we DO agree now and again!
RPJ:
Yep, you could easily read the Darklore piece first, as it provides a summary of the book anyway.
Re the PM article: it could indeed be a Serpo type thing, and I’ve never denied that.
However, as I have mentioned before, introducing yet another cover story only invites more suspicion that Mogul and the Dummies were covers - which has the effect of having people investigate Roswell more, which (to me) seems counter-productive.
There’s one other facet that I think is worth commenting on: namely, that of the people I interviewed, a couple of them actually new very little - just snippets.
So, it wasn’t like I was being fed some hugely intricate tale by those 2. Rather, it was just recollections of what they were told.
To me, that doesn’t sound like some intricate Serpo/MJ12 type story.
But, Roswell is most definitely a hall of mirrors!!

I apologize…I won’t let it happen again
