After seeing one of these creatures it isn't difficult to be a believer. Them being linked with the ufo phenomina isn't that much harder to believe then the human race being linked to the same. The sasquatch appears to in some ways have the same abilities as the men in black, bad smell for one. In my opinion they appear to have more of a link to the reptoids that many fear to even mention in the alien connection. The sasquatch's skull is morely shaped like the reptoid then the human's skull. The grey's appear to me to be abductted fetus's from human women, grown and developed and controlled by the reptoids as the pink monkeys and the sasquatch have been harder to control. The sasquatch may appear when ufo's are in the area cause they know their true lineage and many of the pink monkeys just want to kill their half brothers. My opinion may stink; but, so does the opinion that they have spirit and no body.

Not specifically, but one local told me that there are quite a number of "X-Files" that have been buried by local authorities. Word is they won't even acknowledge certain weirdness reports even exist etc. I mentioned the footage to Hoyt and he seemed to know what I was talking about but ended the conversation with, "Yeah, I wonder whatever happened to it." He ducked my followup question when I asked him to describe what was videotaped. Another Dulce myth to dig up, I suppose...

Chris,

I was sitting next to you the whole time before you spoke, and I was there for your talk too. I didn't take any notes, and that shows!

You're obviously a local and it's strange that you didn't get more time to describe your research.

The hairy dwarves! I forgot about that! Were you able to find the video?

It was great seeing you Greg, I only wish I wasn't so busy lining up & conducting interviews. I was glad I was able to at least catch the last half of your talk. I must admit, I was a little miffed at Norio for not allocating the same amount of time for my presentation that you other folks got. Being the the most local investigator of the bunch it didn't make much sense to me, but it wasn't my event, so I didn't dog Norio about it. I don't remember if you were in the room during my talk, so here's a thumbnail sketch:

I started out by saying "hello, what's happening" in Dine' (Tan jo, yata hey) then set off on a whirlwind overview of the evolution of the Dulce Myth—In order: Project Gasbuggy, Gomez mutes '76-80, mute investigators that worlked w/ Gabe Valdez, the Bennowitz case, Tom Costello disinfo, Myrna Hanson, ChristaTilton, TAL, Branton disinfo, Phil Schneider disinfo etc.

Then I recounted the Jicarilla emergence myth which talks about Blanca Pk (?) in the SLV and I pointed out that there seemed to be a connection between the SLV (45 miles away to the NW) and Dulce in myth and legend. I acknowledged that there was true paranormal phenomena happening on the rez, but that it had nothing to do with any Dulce "base." While there in Dulce, I found out there have been "over 100" sightings of bigfoot and curiously, many sightings of strange 2' tall hairy dwarfs—even in the Casino parking lot! I was told that these entities have been seen "by everyone around here". More on my investigation later...

I then theorized that the SLV activity may be where the real action is located and that Dulce (location of a portal of some sort) is a red-herring to divert attention from underground subjects in the SLV.

I also mentioned the need to look more closely at unusually-high cancer rates in Rio Arriba County and on the rez —that this may be due to environmental radiation. I had been told by a miner years ago (a verified source) who claimed he helped expand the Los Alamos tunnels and start a "tunnel to Dulce," that he thought there was an "underground weapons storage facility" in the Dulce area. Hoyt and then Greg mentioned that there was an underground base in the area but that it was under MOUNT Archuleta, 18 miles west of town, NOT Archuleta Mesa, just north of town.

Then, the going got weird and the weird had to turn pro, FAST. At the :20 min mark Norio started edging toward me to cut me off, so I playfully edged away the same amount of distance. This happened 3 or 4 times as I hastily finished up my talk casting sideways glances. When he finally got to the center of the stage area, I starting teasing him with the mike and ended up doing a mic behind the back James Brown shuffle before I would relinquish the mic. I felt sorta like Rodney Dangerfield swimming in chopped liver, I tell ya! Thank god I only told two people from the SLV that I was going to be there—the gathering narrowly escaped becoming a SRO+ disaster. People from Albuquerque were turned away and had to leave and they weren't happy about it.

There has been a lot going on in "little basket's" country and (as I suspected,) none of it appears to involve garden variety "ETs." I will post a more detailed report later.

Both Native Americans and much later Euro-Americans settlers found much of the Southwest deserts to be an even more frightening place than the Plains or deep Forests of the Eastern half of what is now the US. Very unforgiving environment with real dangers like grizzly bear, mountain lion and jaguar well into the last century. Throw in some unpredictable weather and even the most jaded of 'modern humans' will get unnerved. Most of the area is still uninhabited and difficult to access. As anomalists, are we really surprised by the reports of Bigfoot, UFO's or skinwalkers coming out of an area that's still alien to most of humanity?

Drew,

Do you know who broke that L.A. lizard story way back in 1988? MIKE MARINACCI, in his book Mysterious California. He is a friend now and was co-author with me on Weird California. No credit was given, I suspect.
