Relative to the Underground Bases are the transit systems.
It seems that the Bases- there must be a lot of them scattered all over the Continent, are connected by a subway system, nothing like the kind that operate in major cities, as there are no stations between the Bases requiring pedestrian access, and the transit techology is much more advanced, UFO technology applied to trains of cars running deep under the ground.

A gent who attended the same UFO meeting I did in West Los Angeles a decade ago, told me one evening at Delores Restaurant, on Santa Monica Blvd in West Los Angeles, almost across the street from the MAHOOD SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER, that leased the center at night for the UFORUM meetings, that he had discovered an access point and descended down into a huge tube deep under the ground.
This got my attention because it was the second time I had heard this.
The first time was at a series of lectures given by a lady who claimed to be a reinarnated extra terrestrial, and who went by the name of Bonnie, with a Sur name Sharula- an ancient Egyptian diety, so somewhat like the goddess Ishtar; Persian lady from the stars.
Anyway, in one of her lectures Bonnie claimed that there were subway trains that ran between all of the bases, and these trains were unlike any subway trains in major cities.
Bonnie claimed other things that were substantiated by my friend Robert Stanley, who currently has a website for his UNICUS magazine.
This,by the way leading me to yet another possibly related experience.
When Mr. Stanley lived in Los Angeles he took me with him to Malibu State Park, which is a very magical place. Face on Mars like statues can be seen, wide shallow steps that start and end nowhere, and other evidences of ancient ruins.
I saw a 'doosey' after a devistating brush fire some years ago. With no brush to hide it, I saw a series of what looked like skinny volcanic cones that came out of the ground all in the middle of a carved out space that went down towards the Pacific Ocean.
It seems that before the last Earth Changes, Catalina Island was a mountain top, Did one of these tubes terminate there?
In sum, the underground bases are just the icing on the proverbial cake.
For more on the role of Malibu in the scheme of things please refer to the On Line Web Site/ archives at Unicus Magazine.
    Thank you.

I think that you've answered your own question. You wrote a book about how the military used UFO's as a cover story to hide a classified project. Not what the UFO Hunters want to hear or present to the public. Secret underground military bases? Why, there just a few hundred miles from Roswell in the high desert! They've got to house aliens, why else would anyone go through the trouble of putting something so far away from civilization? Most of what I've seen on UFO hunters is pretty lame in the scientific sense. Even worse, it's more reality TV than documentary. Worse yet Bill Birnes is a total ETH supporter. The only reason I catch any of it is because it follows Monster Quest.

Yeah last night James Fox was on coasttocoast and George Noory dismissed his former UFO guest John Michael Greer as a "skeptic" who thinks UFOs are "man-made manipulations." When in fact JMG emphasized military disinformation and the John Keel/Vallee angle on ufos. Instead Fox and Noory continue hypothesizing that the astronauts on the Moon saw alien bases and can't tell anyone. No evidence.

It seems that moon alien bases are the new big thing compared to underground bases. Noory quickly brought up Werner Von Braun stating alien disinformation was used to cover-up military technology. You had to already know what he was talking about to even catch his reference to military disinformation and just as quickly James Fox dismissed it. He just reiterated that the former Governor of Arizona believes the Phoenix Lights have to be from another planet, etc.

No censure intended, Greg-and I'm a
bit disappointed that they more or less
dropped you like that. Disappointed,
but not terribly surprised. TV can be an educational medium, but more often than not, its default
setting is "Entertain".

I've read Project Beta twice
now, and while I can't fault the
research, I'm left puzzled by what
the Air Force, et al, hoped to achieve.
There doesn't have to be a rational
explanation of course-war and
war making are profoundly irrational
acts...

Craig,

I like appearing on any program for the reason that most people do, and more importantly, it provides publicity for my books which makes more people buy them, which occasionally gives me parking meter change. This is no exaggeration.

I hope that they don't use info from Project Beta without referencing it in some way. It would be nice to have more readers.

I looked at the French site. They used the comments from one of our readers (Chris Barrus) about something in one of the photos that looked like a dust swirl under the object. He pointed out that it was probably a cluster of weeds, which I tend to agree with.

N-A,

"Dr. Ted"? Why can't they call him by his surname like respectable people?

Oh yes, the viewer must feel that she/ he has some sort of personal relationship with T.V. people they will probably never meet and who don't even know they exist.

No, but they hail from the planet Paranoius.

(Many of you may not know that Kenn was the Best Man at my wedding last year. Thanks again Kenn!)

I think it makes perfect sense that an alien race would cross who knows how many light years in order to dig a hole in the ground...(Sorry.)

The few times I've been able to sit
through UFOH, I've barely been able to keep myself from cringing. When an
untrained amatuer like myself can look at something and go " Wow! Thats really poor science..."

Unrelated, Greg, but I noticed your name in a French blog post on the old
Heflin photos. Mori linked to it in
the following post-
