UK-UFO Files…

The following just in from Dave Clarke in the UK:

“From Sunday 22 March 2009 a third collection of UK MoD UFO files can be downloaded from The National Archives website: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ufos

“Visitors to the website can download a highlights guide, a podcast and an updated background briefing I have prepared as consultant to The National Archives on the ongoing UFO files release programme.

“‘This tranche consists of seven files containing more than 2000 pagesof material. Six of the files include UFO reports received by the MoD’s Defence Intelligence branch DI55 between 1987 and 1993.

“During this period MoD received 1200 individual UFO sighting reports.

“One incident that remained unexplained involves a set of colour photographs taken in Scotland during 1990. These show a diamond-shaped UFO apparently shadowed by Harrier jets.

“A detailed list of highlights from the files and discussion of the key stories contained therein can be found on my blogger page:
http://www.drdavidclarke.blogspot.com/

“Media coverage of the story will follow the lifting of the TNA press embargo at 0001 hrs GMT on Sunday, 22 March 2009.”

  1. red pill junkie Says:

    Reading one of the PDF files released by the MoD, it seems they took a really great interest on the landing of a UFO & CE3 encounter in Voronesh, Russia in Oct 1989.

    This is a transcript from pages 124-125 of the first PDF file of the recently released cases:

    “MONDAY OCTOBER 9 1989

    UFO OFFICIAL! BBC RADIO 4 ‘PM’ 17.00 hrs

    Amazing Day. Comes from Tass. 300 miles SE of MOSCOW Town called VORONYESH (?) something like this. Shining silver orb. 3 giants with small heads wen for a short walk in the park! We are not given a date of time. Radio 4 BBC gave just ‘recently’. Tass voice says he doesn’t think it’s a joke as TASS hasn’t got mcuh of a sense of humour, but he isn’t taking it seriously… depression in ground, traces of unknown stuff 73 days to the Winter Solstice…
    Found it—VORONEZH Almost South of MOSCOW.

    Its on the RIVER DON and, approx, is at
    51° 48′ N LAT / 51° 35′ 36″ N LAT /
    /
    / was CETI
    39°20′E LONG/4° 10′ 42″W LONG /

    ++++++++++

    TUESDAY OCT 10 17.00

    Official from R.G.S. [Striked out with 'Section 40' title]

    VORONEZH (ex WW2 Battlefield) is
    51°40′ N LAT
    39°13′ E LONG

    There is another Voronezh! and would you believe it is almost exactly on the same Latitude…

    51°46′ N LAT
    33°30′ E LONG

    ++

    This means that between GOWER (Original CETI at Winter Solstice 1981) and main Voronezh there is only 5′ LAT
    Incredible

    ALIENS AT VORONEZH USSR

    Released to World Media October 9 1989
    Considerable press following day. (See enclosed D. Mail 10.10.’89)

    ++

    This seems to be the beginning of the sequence. It’s a ‘double match’ in that:

    1. There are TWO VORONEZHS
    If that isn’t sign enough consider,
    a) Both of these towns are almost exactly on the same latitude.

    VORONEZH ‘A’ (The suspected location of alien walkabout) is:
    51°40′ N LAT and 39°13′ E LONG.
    VORONEZH ‘B’
    51°46′ N LAT and 33°30′ E LONG

    2. The clincher is that the original CETI ‘contact’ was at THE STONE OF CETI at Winter Solstice exactly at 22.51 Hrs DEC 21 1981. Its location is:
    51°35′36″ N LAT and 4°10′42″ W LONG.

    Original CETI (no aliens seen) on 51°35′ S.WALES at Winter Solstice ‘81
    This CETI (aliens present) on 51°40′ LAT. Winter Solstice minus 72 days ‘89
    a differene of just 5′! and almost eight years. 8 is sign of infinity.
    Whilst all three lay within 11′ of each other.

    +++

    Expect another ’sighting’ and on or around the same latitude.”

    [End of Transcript]

    So… what do you guys make of all this? Why do they show such amazement to the fact that there are two towns in Russian with the same name (Voronezh).

    They seem to link this case with another one that happened in South Wales in ‘81, during the Winter Solstice.

    What does ‘double match’ mean?

    What exactly does CETI stand for?

    Also, what does GOWER stand for?

  2. BenDoverEsq. Says:

    I think CETI means “Communication with Extraterrestrial Intelligences”
    However, CETI might mean two things here. It might also be referring to “Arthur’s Stone” in Wales, a neolithic site also known as “Maen Ceti”. Could it be someone at the MoD was interested in the idea of ley lines and their relationship to UFO phenomena and other weirdness, hence the importance of the latitude? Reading that report I certainly get the feeling whoever wrote it was of a metaphysical bent- and doing some personal speculating. Anyway, a very interesting find Red Pill.

  3. BenDoverEsq. Says:

    By the way, Gower is where Arthur’s Stone is located.

  4. red pill junkie Says:

    Thanks Ben; very interesting that idea of linking ‘Maen Ceti’ with Voronezh. I think you’re right that there were people in the MoD willing to explore ‘outh there’ ideas to solve the UFO mystery.

  5. BenDoverEsq. Says:

    Yeah, it would be interesting to find out who wrote it and who was he addressing. Whoever it was he had a interesting take on things. That’s just not the sort of report you expect to come across in these files. Again, great catch red pill.

  6. Scot UFO - UFO sightings, news & events from around Scotland Says:

    Scot UFO - UFO sightings, news & events from around Scotland…

    Yesterday marked the 200 day interval since the appearance of the UFO directly over Chicago’ s O’ Hare Airport. And, while regular readers are fully aware of the incident- my bet is that less than 50% of the population recall any details regardless…
