Two Videos of Aliens (?)

At his Unknown Country site, Whitley Strieber recently posted an essay on two videos from widely separated locations appearing to show similar strange beings. One is reported to be from Fresno, California from last November, the other was taken near Lima, Peru and posted on February 28th from a Peruvian news broadcast.

The images show similar stick-like figures walking through the frame. One is from a security camera, and the other from a low-quality home video. Both are of course so grainy that they would be easy to fake, but they’re fun to watch. Strieber comments:
Because it is no longer possible to definitively conclude that any digital video is authentic, we cannot confirm the authenticity of these videos. However, the extremely bizarre nature of the figures and the way they move are so strange, and so completely unlike anything that has ever been offered before as “alien video,” the suggestion is strong that these are real images of unknown bipedal creatures, whose body morphology is so radically different from what has evolved on earth that the conclusion is almost inescapable that they are aliens.

To me, they look kind of like the “kokopelli cel phone” image from March of 2007. If fake, they are fairly well done. Perhaps video fakers are trying to create a new meme of stick-figure aliens that are coincidentally easier to animate. If “real” in some sense, they may show some sort of homonculus-type of being that might be a force or consciousness trying to appear to us in a form that resembles humans.

Maybe this is the kind of beings that visited that cleric in New Mexico ;-)

The “alien” walking across the yard and then sticking his “face” into the camera was pretty fake.

I’m not sure what to make of video #1 I can’t really extract any information from the video itself, being a video of a video on a video screen. If I could get a hard copy of it I can run some filters and get a better look. However, video #2, has enough information directly in it’s field of view to identify the “creature” in this one. It’s the top of a plant growing in front of the camera person. It’s difficult to tell zoomed in at the beginning, but at the end as the station graphics are removed, it’s obviously a plant. Sorry guys, but unless this one came in as a part of James Arness’s crew at the north pole (The Thing From Another World) back in the fifties, I’ll have to say indigenous flora.

[...] does suggest, however, that they could be digital hoaxes. Greg Bishop at UFOMystic also suggests so. Keep reading for our ordinary investigations, with more stick figure aliens and [...]

I call these the “Gumby” aliens because that’s what they look like.

Anyway, it’s interesting that a woman draws a picture of an alien that’s somewhat like these stick figure aliens.

    See the article at:

    RPJ,

I remember he described them as looking a bit like kachinas, but I can’t think of any that look like stick figures, with the possible exception of the “mudheads.”

  7. Greg Bishop Says:

    NJ,

I just posted something on the “blue banana” drawing/ encounter. There were two episodes of Gumby where they met kachinas. One of them is up on youtube. Connections galore!

  8. Greg Bishop Says:

    Mr. Inspector,

How did they make the plant move like that? CGI animation?
