UFO and UFO-Related Photos
A nice gallery of UFO photos and related material is available at UK-based TopFoto. You can spend hours at the site, looking at pictures of William Burroughs, Bryon Gysin, and Allen Ginsburg at the “Beat Hotel,” old French postcards (naughty ones), or even the “U.N. Year of the Potato.”
I was going to borrow one picture for the post, but apparently TopFoto is an image licensing company, and we don’t want any legal action around here.

How could they have copyright licenses over some of those old UFO photos, which probably come from the Blue Book files, and are therefore of public domain?

RPJ,
I don’t know which ones are public domain. I suppose you can say you own anything that’s PD, unless someone finds out otherwise!

Greg: Any lawyer worth his/her weight in amicus curae briefs knows that Beatniks can’t be copy-righted. UFOs are by definition beyond category, word and possibly even the vagus-nerve climax. Good like selling those flying Dennis Hopper gadgets.
