UFO Dream #2

Here’s another dream I had a couple of nights ago. Can you interpret any symbolism for me?

We left on a camping trip over backroads in the daytime. Near dusk, we stopped at a metal building with windows and a wooden door. There were beds and couches inside. Someone knocked and I opened the front door to see two small dogs looking at me. A person was parked on the dirt road in a convertible with more dogs and asked if we wanted to adopt them. I told him “No.” I looked out the front door again after it got dark. There were starlike lights streaking around in the sky and making patterns by sitting still for a few moments at a time. It was frightening to me, but no one else seemed to care. “I hope they don’t land,” I thought. It seemed ominous. Apparently they did land and someone was trying to get into the building. Somehow, the occupants of the UFO were suddenly in the room with us, but they looked like anyone you’d meet, dressed in clothes appropriate for the outdoors. There were about four or five of them, but I don’t remember the ratio of males to females. Perhaps they were doing something to our minds to make us think that there was nothing wrong, but I knew that there was. With trepidation, I started talking to them. Two of the entities, who appeared as attractive women in their late 20s or early 30s, called for me to sit between them. We talked, but I don’t remember what was said, although their mood was positive, almost like a party. They told me that one of them was not female, and asked me to guess which one. I put my arms around both of their waists, with the sides of my head against their bodies and closed my eyes. I felt that the one on my right was the female. “It’s you, but only by about 10 or 15%” I said. They laughed and said I was right. She said her name was “Amanda.” I woke up after that.

What kind of patterns were the UFOs making?

Because Amanda sounds awfully a lot like “Mandala”… reminds me of that movie I saw on Dec in HBO, “The Last Mimzy”.

Also, what color were the dogs, and the hair of the attractive women?

All I know is that the “female” on Greg’s right was [A man...duh!]

  3. Greg Bishop Says:

    RPJ,

I don’t remember the patterns well. Straight lines and two-dimensional geometric forms mostly.

The dogs were dog colors: brown, black, white, and combinations thereof.

I think that the hair color on the women was brunette, perhaps one was lighter than the other.

    Sage,

    …or a transsexual.

I’ve had a very similar dream as well. As far as I know it is not recurring. Can’t tell you how creeped out I am by the similarity…As far as I recall there was no interaction with the intelligences behind the lights.

I live nearby some foothills here in the San Diego area and this was the backdrop for the lights. I was very relieved to wake up from the dream.

    Sage,

Having a ‘Crying Game’ type of dream would also make me wake up… screaming! :-P

Seems like you’re being tested. Perhaps the same intelligent entities are being presented to you in different forms (dog, star, woman) to see how you react.

I don’t know Greg but keep us updated on any future weirdness.

  9. richellenhawks Says:

Have you ever tried the word association dream technique?

  10. Greg Bishop Says:

    awd,

Come to think of it, I’ve had other “stars arranging in patterns” dreams, but I can’t remember any details.

I grew up in San Diego. Where are you located?

  11. Greg Bishop Says:

    0uterj0in,

I guess I choose to look at it as my subconscious presenting things to me, although it might be otherwise. Maybe that’s what’s testing me (my own mind that is.)

  12. Greg Bishop Says:

    Richelle,

How does that work? Is there somewhere online that this can be accessed?

  13. richellenhawks Says:

It’s something about a long time ago–I wrote an article about it here:

    instructions on the 2nd page.

…something i READ about a long time ago, that is.
